1) I took rings from curtains and connected them together. The result is a designer item for the spring-summer season.
All the cornices in our house have wooden rings. But over time, I remade almost all the curtains and made them with eyelets. There are a lot of rings left.
However, rings can be very useful in everyday life. For example, if you tie them together you will get a nice basket or lampshade for a chandelier. You can also make a fruit vase and curtain ties.
All these things are made according to the same principle: the rings are tied together with ropes or crocheted, and then connected to each other.
Rings also make cute handbags, which is exactly what I want to bring to your attention.
To work you will need 31 rings. Each of them must be braided with rope or yarn. This is done in two ways, either crocheted or wrapped in a spiral with rope. I chose twine for myself and will use it to wrap the rings.
To determine the length of the rope, you need to braid the ring and unravel it, it will be clear what length to take.
- I dripped a little hot glue onto each ring and attached it with twine folded in the middle. Then I wound it in two directions and glued the edges.
- I made blanks from the finished rings: two side parts, each of 11 rings, and 3 parts of 3 rings.
- For convenience, I first attached the rings with glue, and then tied them with twine so that there were three turns on the front side. I tied the threads into knots on the wrong side and cut off the excess.
- I glued the middle of 3 pieces of 3 rings to one side of the bag, then knitted everything with twine.
- Next I attached the second side.
- I tied ready-made bamboo handles to the bag, bought them at a handicraft store for 350 rubles, you can take any shape of handles.
- The bag is ready, and it is see-through.
- To hide personal belongings, I sewed a double bag-bag from calico. I stretched a rope inside and attached wooden beads along the edges.
- I put the bag inside the bag.

2) I saw what a gorgeous bag my friend made and wanted one just like it. All you need is to buy rings.
Here's how to sew it:
For the work, I needed two pieces of fabric measuring 72 x 40 cm. For the front side I have a beautiful calico with a pattern called marrakesh, for the back side a harsh calico.
- For the pocket we make a rectangle 20x34 cm.
- First, I folded my pocket in half. I stitched it and turned it inside out.
- I sewed it onto the lining, departing 13 cm from the edge.
- I joined the fabric, with the right sides facing inward, and laid stitches along the 40 cm sides. I smoothed the seams and joined them in the middle.
- I cut out pieces of fabric measuring 4x5 cm in the corners.
- I marked a distance of 14 cm from the seams.
- I made lines from the corners to the 14 cm point.
- I turned the corners and stitched on 4 sides.
- Stitched the corners to each other.
- I turned the bag inside out and stitched open edges 14 cm long.
- I marked lines from the top edge of the bag, retreating 8 cm.
- I attached the rings to them, turned the edge over and stitched. The rings remained sewn into the bag.

3) A backpack is a fairly popular and necessary thing these days. It is worn regardless of age. And if previously it was considered as a thing suitable for hiking, now it is part of the owner’s image.
Undoubtedly, this beautiful backpack has earned the love of the fair sex; it holds a lot, your hands are free, and it is very comfortable.
The size and pattern of knitting depends only on your desire and imagination.
I crocheted my backpack from seemingly completely incompatible threads. And it looks very cool!
I used coarse twine and delicate white cotton threads from Fix Price, which I bought at the beginning of summer without knowing why. If someone finds this color to be easily soiled, you can replace it with a darker tone.
