Great info. I own some vvs diamonds, and while its near-perfect clarity and exceptional quality make it an incredible piece, the downsides have me considering selling it. It's a great opportunity to make some cash and invest in something more practical.

Great that will fetch you some cash. *I used to be a collector, but I liquidated my collection to venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $52million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.

I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs like VOO and SCHD. I have also started acquiring some tech ETFs, including IITU and IUCM.

Great advice. Also worth mentioning that the bigger the diamond the less likely the clarity is going to be that high of a grade and the more you would have to pay for it. Colour is by far the biggest consideration

I think it’s legit for ppl to ask if diamonds are VVS. A lot of ppl don’t care if u can’t see the difference that much, they just want the clearest diamonds possible for their value and to be on the same level as rappers, u probably don’t get that bc it’s not ur world (rappers, etc..). Personally, I’d only buy VS or VVS diamonds, stores like Icebox authenticate diamond clarity.

For sure it’s a legit question. It’s just the misconceptions around VVS. For example, you said they just want the clearest diamonds possible, then that’s not VVS. I think it’s you who might not understand given it’s clearly not your world

⁠⁠@@TrottersJewellersTV I know there’s IF and F too, but VS and VVS is more affordable, I know what I’m talking about, and yeah I think the hype is legit, imo when your fav rappers talk about VVS it makes it worth buying if you got the money, they’re our inspiration. We’re just from different worlds I’m young and part of the hype but I make my own research about diamonds. You’re an expert so I don’t know as much as you, but I know enough to have my own opinion about the hype and think it’s legit, if that makes sense
