Hi Paul I have the same problem with my Whitman albums like you,so I’m going to try this on my albums.My three pence album was to tight on some pockets ,so I scrapped around the edges with a scalpel very carefully until they fitted .From JRS

I would love to see some of these 'proper' designs make their way back on to our modern coins. Regarding the Whitman albums, I use a small slither of paper to take up the slack.

For the 3d coins just file down the edges until they fit in. 😉

Some of my Whitman folders are really tight and if insert the coin at an angle I can get the top in then press the bottom into place.

When you first did that with the folder I said OMG I knew he was going to do that, but it worked like a charm, now if I can get some Canadian and England and U.K. folders for my collection I love it!!! GaryBailey

I tried your old method a while back, using distilled water, with differing results. Some coins still fell out, and others remained in the folder. However the method used in this video has me full of trepidation, as I fear I could ruin the folders. 🤔

All very well but what to do when Vic pennies refuse to fit into the provided Whitman spaces? I'm afraid of bending any such coin trying to get it/them to 'place' !

as i have mentioned before on a previous film i used to have a half crown that my Grandad gave me but my older brother got it under his ACME exchange plan ie he got my half crown and i got nothing in return. i still do not have a half crown.

That was a bit scary but glad it worked I have started collecting pre decimal do you sell any of your spare ones I use english coin company to get mine don't like ebay
