Coach - Strangely my right hand was numb on my last two rides which has not happened at all on my current bike. This video remind me how to troubleshoot this issue! It appears I need to exercise my wrist and rotate my grip. Thank you Coach!

I am a DC that practices Advanced Biostructural Correction. Posture is misunderstood by most. Posture is you body position at rest, not at attention. Anybody can stand at attention but that's a lot of work. Your spinal bones are little mechanical levers and when you have good structure you have good leverage/posture. When you have bad structure you have bad posture. When sitting it is important to have your hips higher than your knees. When you do that your sacrum and pelvis tilts up and forward. Since your body is a lever the upper portion of your body will tilt up and back. If you sit with your knees the same level as your hips or lower, your sacrum and pelvis tilts down and back and your upper body slumps forward. You will notice if you sit on a very firm angled wedge or something similar, your body will stay up with no effort due to the leverage. This should be non-volutionary meaning you should not have to try and make it stay up, it just should be up. Yes the body is one single, synchronous unit, not seperate parts that work independently of each other. Everything works together at the same time and there are very tight tolerances which is why very minor adjustments from a fitter can make huge differences as a result.

Nearly impossible to sit with hips higher than knees at almost 1,9m height at any desk...

@@samotiak There is a wedge that practitioners like myself have for patients that is angled to accomplish that. There is also a chair design of the wedge. It comes in three different thicknesses depending on which is best for the patient. The desk needs to be high enough to accomodate this.

My numb hands seem to just go away once I get a bit fitter. I put it down to weighing less and pushing more on the pedals.

Good advice about using drops, hoods and bars on longer rides, also focusing on 'lightening' my hands improves my core fitness. I did suffer badly from an aching left shoulder which went down my arm and while those points above helped I found the main culprit was the left strap of my bib tights being too tight, I didn't use it and the issue disappeared:) Not sure if that's a common issue.

A great video as usual. But my question is if you have a purple burglar alarm for your Bianchi Bianca.

I'd switch off the music during talking. It's hard to focus. Music only during breaks.

Bit repetitive. I’m not sure what to expect on the page you’ve linked. Was the link for your live already there and all places were taken or the link will appear in a week time - a little misleading your webpage. :(
