There should be plenty of ACTUAL FOREIGN EXCHANGE OFFICES that accepts the INDIAN RUPEES, since GDP of INDIA is established and stable Worldwide, in its exports, imports. REMITTANCE CENTERS and PAWNSHOPS should also accept Indian Currencies, since INDIA also belongs to the leading economies in the World, Exports and Services that is IMPORTANT, be it tech, health, or services ICT and NON ICT as well, same with countries.

Last summer, when i was in india, i had about 1000 dollars in cash, and they didn't ask me for anything. They just took the cash and gave my money at the day exchange rate. No gst, no tax, nothing.

So when you have little money to exchange you must not think of these things... And Cash to US me leke ghumna is very impractical... As always you get 10 people arround and 2 tries to con or theft you...
