Going on 60 yrs old. Sick of these overpriced babies. Sick of Toronto Management that just want to sell tickets and merchandise. Sick of Gary Bettman turning the NHL into a circus of Gambling, Flying around the planet to play a game. Sick of all these Streaming Services that are overpriced as well. I'm a Leafs fan that lives in Ottawa ( may win before Toronto) CLEAN HOUSE!!!!

I'm sad that this is the franchise that Toronto has to put up with. The team needs a culture change. It starts from the top. They allow mediocracy and are afraid to hold the team accountable. The players get everything they want. No winning culture. You would think that at least one year out of the last 8 (nevermind the franchise sad history) you would have some success. Nope never the Leafs. Always find ways to loose.

First time watching a whole segment, great work guys. Ya got a new fan. BTW - personally, I loved the rant. You’re absolutely right, that is how we 50-60 year fans talk about the club amongst ourselves. I coach, I always tell the kids, you can’t control much but you can control how hard you work, you get beat by skill, fine, you get outworked, maybe hockey isn’t for you. Cheers.

If I worked the bench, not one player would have access to a tablet. Marner is always checking that sweet pass that didn't work or that fancy stick work, with no results. Play forward,look forward. Don't worry about what happened or didn't. Observe live play always, read your own teammates and opponents

Tavares wasn't a good 'C' on the Isles and seems to be just the same ineffective, non-motivating C on the Leafs

Hey boys, love the show! Quick comment on the no trade clause. Brian Burke said it best. Trelieving didn’t give any of those guys their contracts. You say to them, I need a list of teams. If not I’m sitting you if you try to enforce the no trade. There’s always ways to get around those contracts. It comes down to if they’re willing to take it to certain level. Cheers boys!

Good for you Rosey. I grew up in Ontario and have lived in the US since 2009. It’s mind boggling and borderline cultish the way some in the Toronto media covers its teams. I can assure you if the Leafs were in DC or Pittsburgh, your take about Saturday wouldn’t even raise an eyebrow here. Years of playoffs failure is not defensible!

Wayne said they were expecting hooting and hollering and a wild celebration. Instead, they looked in the room since the door was open and all the Oilers saw were players layered in ice packs, leaning back in their stalls having a cold beer, and maybe a smoke. The last two weeks of the season was when Keefe put into effect his playoff plan "preparation H" and where did it get them? It gave a Willy a migraine, not 100 pts, and now Matthews appendix wants out as well, no 70 goals and tosses his cookies the day after going ⚾'s out for the first time in a playoff game. I want a T Shirt made "Stop You're F'ing Crying Bro, Just Shoot the F'ing Puck!," THAT Mantra! The conversation was between Auston and Willy, poor Mitchie Boitano was in the middle, get him some f'ing mitten clips. Tavares is a robot on xanax, barely a pulse, battery is dead, ptsd from Isles, flashbacks, can't move the puck along the wall, and worst of all, was THE means to this End with that first big contract. What a Legacy! TYVM Kyle.

the leafs are spent, 3 games with serious body checking and they are done, this squad will never get near the cup. Schenn and others would not sign on indicating there is a problem in the dressing room, coach in over his head as well. Mathews, nyes, mcmann. kampf, bertuzzi, domi, reaves should be the new core. Think of the quality ham and eggers and defensemen you could get for marner and nylander.

I am totally with Jay Rosehill, the effort and the whining of Mariner is not good enough. Maybe they paid him too much...I am not saying that Mariner is not a good player but he sure hadn't brought it in to the playoffs, I don't get it. He is beyond talented, but unfortunately you have to play a well rounded game and you have to pay the price to win. I don't think he has that kind of desire.

This Core 4 had some good regular seasons. Likely the Core 4 get changed out and only Matthews stays is my guess. The lights turn off soon. The Leafs are now have the worst playoff team record in the history of the NHL. At least they are good in the regular season. 😀

Mitch out. JT let him play out final year if he won't waive his no move, but strip the C and give it to Auston. Willy gets an "A". If Mitch agrees to waive get some draft picks and a big D-man who can play 3-4. Build around Auston and Willy up front, but need to focus draft/free agents on D and maybe G (unless they can acquire a solid G-man). You do not want Mitch mis-mentoring the younger players. If Mitch refuses, 3rd line, no PP (or minimized 2nd unit) and bench him if he whines. He won't have the stats to cash big. DO NOT OFFER HIM AN EXTENSION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!

I've had horrible migraines and I've had legitimate thought I would die food poisoning. Those things can be debilitating, but knowing what's at stake, I would still at least try to go out there and make a difference for my team. I don't think Mathews is dealing with food poisoning. I think he's got some type of leg injury.

I feel Matthews after his 3 weeks of chasing 70 He was running on adrenaline the entire period and playing approx 24 minutes a game. What would have better is to take some time off, reduce his amount of time on the ice. And be 100% ready for the playoffs. The leafs were in 3rd so nothing to gain. I hear Matthews may have food poisoning But that only lasts 24-48 hours. I think he has burn out running at super high speed and intensity for those weeks. That generally takes weeks to get over. Just my thoughts but would make sense

As a Sens fan, I feel bad for this team. I’m a strong believer that this team over achieved and the fan base wasled to believe they are better than they are. Goaltending is slightly below average. Defence is below average and can’t make a breakout pass. Reaves is a liability. Domi is a third line player on Torontos first line. Tavares is aging out. Besides the top three, everyone else is a fill in.

Hard to chastise the players being held out these days with so many protocols in place. If only Lindros was given the same attention like Crosby was given with his issues then maybe his and others’ careers would’ve been longer. We just invested long term in AM/WM. Asset Management. They run it back hoping they will be 100% next time.

As a matter of fact, if he played with the desire Jay Rosehill played with the Leafs things may be fifferent in this series. I am glad that Jay spoke the truth. The truth hurts sometimes.....

Nope. Damien Cox says Jay cannot criticize Mitch Marner bc Marner is 1000x the player Rosehill was. And Mitch is coming off a high ankle sprain so he gets a free pass. It’s bad luck and bad timing so Jay or the fans cannot criticize the players

I absolutely agree that Shanahan and Keefe need to go. Here is a game; Lets take Marchant, Pasternak and MaCvoy and give Boston Matthews, Marner and Nylander, who will win that series with the switch? You can rest assured that Boston will win with that switch. STOP DUMPING ON MARNER, letting him go is a monumental mistake. Get a coach like Quinnville (NHL permitting), Brube or Rod Brind'Amour . We need a coach like the late Pat Burns and Pat Quinn that will instill consistency and tenacity with the right supporting cast around the elite players. The last time I saw this team win the cup, I was 12 years old and I am tired of seeing our brightest (Sittler, MaCdonald, Hyman and so on) being traded away because of a lack of foresight. Go Leafs Go.

Matthews was pulled off by the Leafs medical staff. They practically dragged him off. As he wanted to go out and play. But can't play when you are throwing up and on the toilet with stomach discomfort and pains. BUT he wanted to play the 3rd and THEY pulled him off & said No. Hopefully he's all set for game 5 tomorrow.

Without knowing the whole story behind Matthew’s condition, it’s hard to criticize him. With regard to Marner, my 9 yr old asked me why he threw his gloves off in the bench. I told him that they’re under a lot of pressure and had a tantrum. It was unprofessional and I hope my son never acts that why at his hockey.

Marner plays 90% of his game between the dots. I having been a leaf fan since Dave Keon; If they resign this baby I am out! Imagine the stud Dman and top 6 forward they could sign with $12-13M.

remember the home ice debate about crowd influence and whatnot? listen to rosey and what he says about buddy wearing a st.pats jersey to the td garden....THATS WHAT TORONTO DOESNT HAVE and hiw home ice should be beneficial, wearing opposing colors isnt advised against or brings any intimidation.

People need to stop paying the outrageous ticket and merch prices. Maybe then MLSE will change a few things up. I just shake my head when I think about how much money Mitchy is going to expect while he's on the bench throwing his gloves and throwing a tantrum fit like a God Damn baby. Marner needs to go ASAP and Keefe needs to follow him out the door with shannahan not far behind. " The shanaplan" hasn't worked in 10 years of him being there, Keefe is nothing more than an average AHL coach and Marner can't perform when it matters and gets offended and can't handle the media and pressure..and who the hell thought it was a good idea to have a former Ottawa senators coach, run the power play?? If he's not good enough to hold down a job behind the Sens bench, why is he in charge of this power play?? 🤦 Just lose already so we can clean house here and get the off season under way..
