FYI: Georgia State Patrol (GSP) does not require approval to make a pit stop. Additionally, Atlanta GSP has a fleet of vehicles including Hellcats, SS Camaros, Mustangs, and more. That's why people who actually live In ATL will tell you to NEVER RUN FROM GSP!!!!!!

Boosted V6’s can top out at 700-1000 HP depending on the engine & weight. Definitely enough power to run tbh.

I'm sure top end though it would get reeled in by even scat packs but who gares. Sometimes the coolest cars are ones that will gap stock v8s but don't sound annoying and don't get you stigmatized for driving a coupe like a Stang etc

If you're ever looking for a lame 4 cylinder at least the GTI looks great inside and subjectively outside (could go with Jetta GLI if you prefer the looks) think they're a little over 3100lbs and 93 pump, is28 turbo or whatever the golf r turbo is upgrade to it and the tunes pushes it to almost 400wheel I believe in that light of a car. Would have to check Integrated engineerings whp dynongains

Probably cause GSP has authorization to use pitting techniques in broad daylight. If the local pd had been chasing a few minutes they may have decided it wasn’t worth it to start a long pursuit in mid day traffic and just wanted the guy caught so it would be over with.

That traffic is pretty light for this area. There isn't any area going that way that will be without people, it only gets worse from there. The amount of police saturation also goes up as you go into downtown.

I drive a V6 1999 Mustang that had 116k miles that I bought for dirt cheap and fixed up. I call it my sport-beater. Its my daily commuter that is just fun to cruise in. In ford's case here it's literally a modified truck block from the '80s with a much more modern intake plenum instead of a carb. Loads of fun. quick acceleration. Great on gas too. Why anyone in a naturally aspirated V6 would even think to run from police is beyond asinine. I'm not a "car guy" by any means but the fact that people think they can buy a Diet V8 and run from cops shows that people have not even the slightest clue when it comes to basic car knowledge and their capabilities.

Police cruisers rock the same engine as you but with AWD and better brakes. You can keep up with them but you can’t lose them, so if you can’t get off the road without them seeing then you’re getting caught.
