I’d like to hear your thoughts on Abrahamic religion. Do you see a contradiction in something like the Bible? Was there a point in your life where you investigated the idea of something like Christianity? If so I would love to know what conclusion you came to.

I grew up Christian and being heavily involved in the church. In the end I found my own connection to god, and it didn’t follow the rules of the church.

@@realitydesigners from what I know of you from these videos I can tell we are similar in many ways. I also found God outside of the boundaries of any church. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.

In my opinion, regardless of a philosophy or religion anyone ascribes to, everyone is either trying to search for some greater meaning or wanting to achieve a higher state of being or end goal however they define it. Unfortunately, many people lose themselves, are stuck in their ways, or aren't asking the right questions. I watched the movie 'The Big Short' yesterday which sums up a lot of those points

Do you believe in free will? Because what if you feel that something from outward pulls you towards it, and you feel a resonance to it? Would I need to force myself not to react, not to interdwine, nonetheless the strong pull towards something? Is there free will involved then?

@alanm6o9 yeah, and when nothing in this world has free will, no planets, no animals, and there are even humans who are capable of foresee the future, how can there be free will for humans then?

That means when you don't want something that you "see" in the outer reality, you train yourself to don't react to it? What if this thing persist and you see it over and over again?
