as an mnk player i always change my monitor/chair height/distance or brightness before i change my sens as weird as it sounds lmao but yeah lotss of things that factor in

First person I’ve heard talk about the different between a small deadzone on linear and none on classic, none on linear feels like too much. Great advice!

On Mnk, what I do when I play other shooter/fps is that I draw a line on a table from a point then drag until it comes back to that same point. Then, on ads like iron sight I either do the same distance but on a 180 degree distance. Or you could use those that auto calculates the sensitivity from a certain game to another. At least that's what I noticed on why I'm overshooting or undershooting sometimes, the inconsistency of the sensitivity between different games.

i run a 1.3 400dpi. im outside that range but still beaming. its all preference, takes a while but the slow sens is what i find most consistent

I followed one KZfaqr's guide for what he considered optimal sensitivity for controllers. He gave recommendations on how to tweak it if needed but also recommended trying to stick with it for a few days and then if you're still struggling to alter it as need. Tweaked mine a little after using for a few days and haven't changed it since 👍

I used 4-4 classic. Then I used alc and just recently went back to 4-4 classic. My issue is I tense up and I have a twitch right thumb that makes my recoil control suffer. I’m stuck getting use to 4-4 again

(Console player) I'm very familiar with ALCS, but I was always changing them because they never felt like exactly what I was looking for. I switched to 4/4 Classic a month back and it just feels so good.

Positioning and overcommitting are the main reasons my teammates (and often myself, despite knowing this) get eliminated.

I will say the only reason you want to tweak alc settings is if you look up a good video on good sens's. A lot of the time, or at least for me, I tried their settings which felt a lot smoother and then tweaked it until it felt as smooth as possible for that day. I will say I do switch it every now and then but I'll normally switch it back after a round or two after realizing nothing has changed.

Gotta know how them lower sense players are turning, they try to turn around it takes like 5 years.

I used to use 4-3 steady on controller and it worked for me really good but then I switched to alcs and it’s so much better

ALC is powerful if you understand it. District has a video on all the settings and after i watched that and adjusted to a comfortable range, i was able to *actually* track and hit enemies. The basic sens were allll either too slow or too fast so maybe im an exception but ALC is very good if you know what you’re doing. Its called ADVANCED for a reason though so i don’t suggest people play with random shit. I did that once and it confused the hell outta me.

I think for mouse and keyboard keep your sens to a 360 on your mouse pad. I did this and it really helped my aim

I have used alc for almost 3 years and copied pandrxz at first. Then I changed it to illspooky’s settings and it really fit my style. Have not changed it since and practice aim training for 1-2 hours every day listening to music. Do not change your sensitivity! Sync back in to your shots rather than change sensitivity or you will never gain muscle memory. The more you sync the quicker it is to do everyday too and the less often inaccuracies will occur

I’ve recently gotten a ps5 and when I download apex my ps4 settings were reset and now I don’t remember my old settings and my old settings were extremely unique

Nah 6 6 is mine I need to be able to whip around or change directions quick. And i snipe a lot and changing targets rapidly is useful. Its a little jittery when ads close but it works pretty well.

For controller I use 6 and 6, might seem high but it works perfect for me, I might lower the scoped sense because it is a bit hard to aim from far away so that may help

Used to use this dpi range but the freedom of 4-6 for wall bouncing and flicks is too great

(For controller) How I see it is, if you wanna get good and have lots of time then just start with linear 150 150 ads and work your way up to like 200-250

400 dpu 1.7 sens and I moved 2 times and kept moving my sens around trying to figure out what was throwing me off so much and now that I've spent 2 days sticking with my sens my consistency and accuracy has already gone up please stop adjusting your aim if you have a sens that's is sometimes too high sometimes too low I consider that perfect it just means you need to learn to move your arm and wrist with more intention, it may start off making you slower especially if you try to be more intentional with movements and try to stop on people instead of stopping where you think they are will greatly improve your aim, in 3-4 seasons I've been watching my kd go down steadily as I kept messing around just in 2 days I'm noticing it starting to climb back up Edit: to finish the thought I had while it may make you slower at first you will adjust easily enough to your sens and learn to be quicker and snappier as you play with it, but you won't feel like you are losing accuracy when you notice yourself getting quicker

Are sitting straight, are you normally caffeinated, are you normally not caffeinated, are your hands not warm? Lots of random things

4-3 is solid and well rounded, I used it a lot before I switched to alc

I just switched over to PC from console and I've been seeing people saying to use a DPI of 800 and an in game sensitivity of 1.1 - 2.5 but that just feels so slow to me. Like am I supposed to be using almost my whole desk to look around? It just seems impractical but I'm new so it could just be a learning curve.

“Stop looking for sensitivity” offers a good sensitivity

as a mnk player, anything between 20cm and 45cm/360 is acceptable. In reality it all comes down to mouse control.

One thing that so many people do with their settings that makes no sense to me is lower all the display settings lol I keep mine on mostly high, and a couple like ragdolls on medium.. do those ppl just have horrible pc's? I try to keep my fame looking as good as possible and I rarely lag.. I swear it helps my performance / game moral lol

I play 8-4 max sens with almost no dead zone and all my alcs adjusted in some way, and my aim is superb , don’t let this guy discourage high sensitivity. Just play a while and get used to it

ion agree with the sensitivity. dunno why but i never changed the setting from 5.0 with my classic 800 dpi. using a 24 inch display and been very comfortable with this. apex is too quick and im more comfortable with being able to turn arround in miliseconds.

I think I’ve found the best ALCs for me, turn all the xtra speed options to zero and you should be fine tbh

I just switched to alcs and my aim got a ton better. I spent a good 5 hours in the firing range testing out different things and i can actually control the r99 now and literally any other gun if I take the time to learn it. Just waiting on my kontrolfreeks to get here then imma raise my sens by like 10-20% and I also use kontrolfreek precision rings

Changing Sensitivity doesn't Do anything Bad for you either. If you are over/underflicking and change your sens, your Brain is compensating after a few Minutes and you start to over/underflick again. The Best aimers in the World are also Changing sens and fov All the time, depending on the needs. See sensitivity as a Tool, its not more or less.
