I’v been watching your videos these past couple months and since then I went from playing 6-6 horizontal and vertical to 15 horizontal and 8 vertical and .6 kd to 2.5. Reading the mini map and centering for high damage areas is a mantra

The lag the game has puts you in disadvantage to, because find it strange when in one on one situation,guy jumps 2 hits and I'm down, and in video playback he clearly hits me more times, but for some reason I don't feel the other shots.

Your fine motor skills and twitch control is a huge part outside of the chess match. With no conscious thought your cross hairs just go right where you intended. Till this day I’m still bobbing or searching for center any time I change direction. It’s very subtle but looking at centering. Your there every corner and hallway.

It's funny, you called it doin laps around the building at times. I have learned through watching Knight and Strahfe to understand using a building to finesse players. I call it finessing the building, but it's all the same. Learning and understanding how to use the windows doors and jump spots to break lines of sight until I'M ready to rechallenge. Mastering this with all the buildings on whichever map you're on, that's part of what separates average and great players. A very large part. I've taken this into Plunder-yes I know it's not quite the same- and put it into practice. The main building in Old Town that's probably the hottest drop spot on the map is where I did it. And I can apply how it worked there and use on maps like Vondel or ofc Rebirth with buildings like Control. Control is my all time favorite spot. After learning the concept of 'finessing the building' I was excited to put it into practice on Rebirth specifically Control. It's been GREAT. I wish I knew then what I know now...

The first two are still my biggest challenge! I lose gun fights because I have a tendency to aim for the largest part of the target while they are binging me in the face with shots. 3-5 I’m pretty solid in especially with strategy part of it. Except when I have randoms on the squad 🤬

the slide to break the camera and strafe back to where u we’re when u started the slide is such a good movement combination i just picked up from u i was wondering how to execute on tht because i figured out how to break cameras with the slide but would try n prone and it would work with bots but actual decent players could readjust now ik how to

I think joe uses like tactical bumper jumper. It has helped me in close fight situations. Still got a far way to go for good games but it does help imma try the perk he mentioned here

Thank you for these videos, learning a lot! One thing I don't get or haven't seen yet, what's the difference between slide canceling at every doorway vs just pulling up and having gun ready to fire, I don't mean ads, I bring weapon down and walk at those spots anticipating someone there. Just seems that when I'm in buildings like control or prison, I hear the constant slide cancelling and it just further gives away their position. I'm sure there's a reason for the slide canceling vs my slower method, just wondering what that explanation is, thank you.

How do you know in what situations to drop shot? I have been drop shotting in really close range situations, when I get caught off guard, or when I break their camera. But I see myself sometimes dying and if I were to jump shot I would’ve had a better chance.

How do you deal with people camping footsteps just waiting on you, or maybe a better question is how do you engage once your footsteps have been heard and a whole team is waiting for you / looking for you.

Great content as always, Joe! Question for you about the minimap: I never know what it means when I get a thirst and the minimap shows an empty circle. Like when you kill that guy at 4:07, it shows one teammate flying in at your 11 o'clock, and an empty circle off to your left. Is that a spawn-protected enemy? An enemy with ghost?

What I still don't get, how can you tell if the guy is below you or above you when your inside a building? Listening to foot steps sometimes I can't tell the difference if its coming from above or below, with a 7.1 surround sound headset

When U get your thirst, check minimap instantly. Then you see dots of teammates your enemy. Next to each dot you can see up arrow, just dot or under arrow. Up means he's higher than you, dot is on your level, down lower than you.

Nobody ever tells you to do laps around a building, when you run around slide cancelling constantly also just keep everything in front of you, those two are the most important tips, focus on those two and you'll easily be getting 20+ kills every game, I went from 0.8kd to 2kd once I learned about those two tips.

Dont think birds eye is worth dropping or avoiding. Its not the best sure. But losing the elevation for full directional of players isnt bad at all. Also unghosts kids which is a slept on part of birds eye

Losing the elevation makes it much more difficult when you are fighting in a building which 95% of your fights in Rebirth will be Also very few people run Ghost so im never concerned about that
