"Stop Mocking Common Man": Delhi Minister Slams Centre On Freebies Debate

In the second round of bitter verbal battles between the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government over electoral promises, the national capital's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today reiterated that even while the Centre writes off "their friends'" loans worth lakhs of crores, they call welfare measures undertaken by the AAP government "freebies". He hit out at the BJP-led union government, accusing them of deliberately "destroying" the education system so that the common people are forced to send their children to private schools which he claimed are owned by "their friends".

Countries like UK, Sweden, Australia etc. provide free healthcare, education, medicine give to people. The fact is, in a welfare government, it’s the job of the govt. to give these core developmental services. So that we can better our lives without the worry of not having a safety net. Even Prof. Amartya Sen said it in his Nobel prize paper. Calling them as ‘freebies’ is disgusting and cheap. Sharam Karo!

March 2022 mein mein Modi/Yogi ne UP mein free ration Dena 3 mahine aur extend Kiya due to election. Election rally mein Modi ne vote ki bheek mangte hue ye bhi bola tha, "Yaad rakna Mera namak khaya hai." 😂 The Uttar Pradesh government implemented a scheme of its own for distribution of free ration in addition to the central government scheme, Yogi Adityanath said the scheme was earlier only till March 2022 and the cabinet has decided to continue it for the next three months till June. The free ration scheme was an important aspect of the election campaign in the recently concluded UP assembly polls. Aur ye log aaj free revdi ki baat kar rahe 😂😂

Dont worry... We will not give citizens job, education or health centers which need lot of state money... Instead, before the end of our term, we will give the common man something less expensive but highly useful for them, that is, a great temple and some emotional speeches... And see by yourself what the effect will be in the next election..!

Why are we even talking about freebies to common people of India, instead none are talking about the freebies to the ministers & elected members who are doing NOTHING to the common people of India who have elected them. It's high time WE the common people stand united irrespective of political & religious differences against these so called MINISTERS who are getting all the freebies. Think about it, ponder over it.

Quality free education, quality health care, affordable public transport to public should be the responsibility of the Govt. Besides ration for poor. Any how, Rich & upper middle class are not going to avail this facility. Poor & lower middle class utilise this facilities. When, poor becomes middle class, the enrolment in Govt school & hospital will come done. Govt should try to lift poor & make them middle class. The emerging middle class will create demand. This will boost domestic supply side economy. GDP growth will hit solid 10% for next 20 years But, BJP wants to keep poor people as poor and run behind Adani, Ambani, TATA . Invest in people rather than bailing out corporate companies

Freebies can be given to tax payers, who pay 30 per cent Income Tax over the last five financial years and above but not to all.
