from the looks of it tyranitar has a soft spot for things smaller than it

This is one of the reasons why not all dark types are bad. I like dark type pokemon like Mightyena, Houndoom, Tyranitar.

The entire G-Max Duraludon vs Mega Tyranitar battle had Chairman Rose's battle theme from Pokemon Sword and Shield playing in the background. Sometimes when I make these shorts, whether or not I have a specific music piece in mind for the scene, the scene could end up syncing or go along well with the music in some way, sometimes unintentionally. But yea, I'm glad you love it!

I'm glad you like it! As for your question, (which I'll update in the description shortly after I comment this) Tyranitar in the short uses Rock Throw, Crunch, Earthquake, Dark Pulse, Stone Edge, Thrash, and Hyper Beam. Whilst Duraludon uses Dragon Tail, Metal Claw, Brick Break, Flash Cannon, Max Steelspike, and also Hyper Beam. Some of the creative liberties I take with these shorts are what kinds of Pokemon have access to what kinds of attacks and how many depending on where they come from (not counting fairly basic punches whacks bites or any basic action creatures would naturally possess regardless of moveset). Namely, I allow Pokemon who live with trainers to have any 4 moves they have access to from their natural moves along with TMs and tutoring and what have you, but are restricted to 4. Where as I allow Wild Pokemon to have access to as many moves as they have in their natural move list, but only from their natural move list. In this case, both the combatants are Wild Pokemon, and therefore use more than 4 moves, but are restricted to their natural move list. (and yes, another Creative liberty is allowing for Wild Pokemon to access Megas and G Maxing without trainers so long as the scenario calls for it)

Course not, Tyranitar wasn’t out for blood in this short. Sure, there are moments where wild Pokémon scuffles can get a little messy, but of course, t-tar and his buggy friends were just passing through.

Yea, I know I just make them out of just one color of clay (saves me the risk of mixing the colors and having to get more sculpey of said colors), but I try to make due with less, y'know?

It's a Kecleon. I even gave him his in game cry in the short, just like every other Pokemon in these shorts. I forgot exactly where I got the idea of putting Kecleon on all fours from, but I guess I just thought at the time it'd look cute. .... and that I wouldn't have to animate him walking upright XP
