Amazing points Erin.. I have always used my Sony ZV or Canon Powershot to film my YT videos but my most recent video I made I used my iPhone in a meeting room after work, while talking about perfume. It got 25 new followers taking me to 125 subs, when usually I only get 3-5 new subs after each video. People are appreciating a more relaxed connection these days🎉

I've been applying this on my own youtube channel. For May I started a mental health series since may is all about mental health awareness. Series also make it easier to create content because you have a broad topic that you can go deeper into, leading to more videos.

This is very insightful and inspiring, great points. Thank you Erin. I remember a TikTok creator named Britney Joy who used this formula and it definitely worked. She would have these disgruntled, get ready for work with me videos where she would begrudgingly go through her routine lol so relatable and funny all in one. Great examples in this video as well. ❤

Maybe you could keep talking about issues that are close to your heart. There may be a connection you make based on the vibe you give off because you care deeply about what you’re talking about. If these issues have some similarities, that could inspire your series. The similarity might even be the fact that it’s all your life right now. For example, a series about this season of life while you’re trying to achieve ABC while dealing with XYZ issues that are close to your heart.
