8:14 remember that chimera fusion does have a small stipulation that it must use a fiend or beast in order to fusion you can fusion using Lars but you would have to use your gazelle in hand instead of the master tao

Just so you know, you can use Berf GY effect to summon without being locked into fusions. It’s only its search effect that locks you into it. 💪🏽🧙🏽‍♂️

If you go first it is way better to go with Beatrice detach the first fusion to send the barrier statue of darkness. During the opponent standby you fusion summ to special summon the diabell then you banish king of fantom beast to revive the statue

Going back into the game with this deck, this is perfect for me. What do you think are the up and downsides of the melodious package?

Ceiling is a lot higher. If you combo uninterrupted you probably win. The end board becomes much harder to break. That’s true for most the meta decks though. Some of the cons are you have to run some bricks. You have 3x cards you want to draw and a few you don’t want to draw. The engine is also 9-10 cards or so which cuts into your no engine slots. People playing the engine have been going over 40 to mitigate the bricks.

What @@Himothy509 said. Also You mostly just want to draw Ostinato. Refrain can combo, but it takes your normal summon and doesn't make Vortex

Don’t do it, it’s much more bricky, and hearing many negative things about it. Pure or Branded is better

In the coatl plus patchwork line can’t you just summon the berfomet fusion first, dump diabellze, then go into the hand rip fusion, use berf effect to summon back diabellze, and just end on diabellze instead of sword knight?

Hi! I usually don't post decklists when there are good ones out there already. You should check out the Netherlands nationals top 4 list (pure) and the Toronto regional list (melodious). Both are very good

Hi, thanks for the kind words! I haven't encountered Black Goat, but thinking about it, I don't see a clear cut answer. The most damage you can probably do is in response to a fusion spell, calling the monster that you're most afraid of at the moment (Guardian for boardbreaking, Illusion beast for OTK, berfomet for value)

Spoly I'm not too big a fan this format. As for Crossout: you have the space to run it in pure and it helps vs the Ash issue, but unlike Snake-Eye, the board this puts out is not oppressive, and you want to back it up with handtraps. I personally don't run Crossout, but you can sure play it

At that point you still got chimera and Berfomet through and can summon during opponents turn + rip a card. It is a better nib yes, I just wanted to show off the line if they nib earlier

being a branded chimera player i am not running the patchwork engine as i just dont got the room, so sadly most of these combo are not possible for me too do

You can still run branded chimera, the combos are pretty simple

He said two times that Mirror Swordknight locks you into fusions, that is not correct, only Big Wing Berfomet locks you!

Yes, but when you summon Sword Knight, you will go into Berfomet in these lines.

You should never have a chimera fusion effect in the final trigger of a chain because of ghost ogre. So in the original edge imp should be 3

In this instance yeah you could play around Ogre bc you don't need the Patchwork, otherwise I'm fine if they throw an Ogre on a fusion

@@caseystrong9582 I make these decks having the high level meta in mind, if your local meta is on Droll, that's just unfortunate. Phantom of Yubel can help with that issue once it's out
