I was a drug addict, I cried out to God from a broken place where I nearly took my life. Jesus pulled me out of that place and healed me. I'm over 2 years sober now

I lost my Dad in 2017, my younger brother in 2021 and 3 weeks ago my mom. They all passed away. In Sept 2022, my 5 year relationship ended when I already left my country for my ex, left my family and my career, after so many sacrifices I did in that relationship, with the courses, examination and the residence permit. We wanted to get married until 1 day he called it quit. I had to start over with my career back in my country. As a human I don’t understand why all of these happened to me. Why I lost people that I love the most. Trials over and over again and I felt so lost. I was angry and disappointed but I remember my mom told me to always be faithful in God, and no matter what happened He is always good. Those words that make me strong and I’m trying to keep my faith in Him and getting closer to Him more. I believe His plans are always the best eventhough I can’t see them yet.

God is so good was just praying on this that will take the fear out of loving myself again and this came up. Been thure a lot in my life. Now I have been saved a while and still can't love myself because I have fear that stops me. Elias Myron

I have watched a few of your sermons and I like the way you ask questions about where we are in our lives and thoughts.........it makes us address things we might not like.....we might not want to talk about......but they make us think in the moment......and then you come out with reason and understanding and words of hope that we can use to heal ourselves. Such a good sermon, God really knows when you need to hear something. Been going through a huge growth season, changing my perspective and leaning into the path that God has for me, by faith! And not feelings. We grow the most when things get uncomfortable and i'm so grateful for this lesson and to have pastor's like you to help guide us with His words.
