"Anytime" and "don't worry about it" are very common informal alternatives to "You're welcome" in the U.S. Also, "No problem!" or "No worries" but the latter is very informal. 😊

I don't agree with you and "my pleasure"!!! I've reprogrammed myself to not say that at all!!! It's nothing wrong with "you are welcome " even better "you are very welcome " A gift thing: it's nothing wrong with gifting!!! I just surrounded my self with normal Americans who love gifting and are not superficial like you explained.

As a native speaker, sometimes when I text my friends and they did a small favor I will say, “no prob!” Which is short for “no problem” although it is even more informal. Sometimes if the favor is very minor and you’re not super close with the person you can shorten it to “np” and which also means “no problem!”

As a native speaker, I disagree 100%. Saying “you’re welcome” is absolutely normal and appropriate in any situation. Of course you could use these other suggestions but they do not mean the same thing as you’re welcome, and in fact, are not always appropriate to substitute for simply saying “you’re welcome”. And I have never heard a native speaker say “no need at all”.
@VOSS2001

totally agree with you - I am not a native speaker, but having lived in UK for 27 years I can definitely say that 'you are welcome' is used quite often. My pleasure , no worries are probably the most used phrases...That is what good colleagues do and I know you would do the same for me - people might say it with a smile, as they know it sounds a bit pompous :))

As a native speaker I haven’t heard/haven’t used half of these. Instead of you’re welcome, (even in a professional setting) I say anytime! Of course! Don’t mention it. My pleasure. But honestly if I heard any of the other ones you mentioned, I wouldn’t think native speaker.. I would think, what movie did they recently watch haha! Not in a bad way, but not the phrases I, as a native speaker would gravitate to. And not trying to be negative, I think your channel is great and your teaching methods are awesome. Just offering my perspective :)

How can we talk like native speaker? I'm studying at prep class in Turkey and I watched your videos about that but my english isn't fluent. I study hard but even I can't talk good. I can't memorize lots of vocabulary. We learnt them but I don't remember. Today we had oral exam. Our teacher sent us a video to be an example. I watched it and even I watched some videos about that. I studied, too. But I couldn't do well. Our teacher said" your marks are lower than we expected". And I felt me so bad. We described a picture. I described almost everything but teacher wanted a lot. And when I and my partner asked some questions to each other, I asked 2 questions, she asked sth different and the same thing and I expected she will ask me second question that I asked to her. But she didn't ask me. I know she was very stressful, I was stressful, too. I waited for a while but she didn't ask. After that teacher said why didn't you ask a question to your partner. If I get low mark because of this, I will feel really bad. I don't know what should I do now And thank you sooo much. Your videos are amazing. They are helpful for me. Thanks for everything♡

I would say most of these are boiler plate response used in PR statements. Well often come across as non caring response. A "Your Welcome" with the proper emphasis on the way you say it ( a kind and deeply caring tone) can have more impact or even a "Your Very Much Welcome" Followed up by "Please if there's any thing else you need don't hesitate to ask" I think this video covers more dealing with a boss or employee.
