I mean this advice comes from the before times. Back when tanking was the strategy for every boss that would let you. But also this definitely would be slower of you needed to run out and in like you used to.

If you did animation cancel while tanking would it work? Or would getting hit while tanking cancel your animation canceling making you have to re-adjust over and over or something?

Point taken. But you didn’t animation cancel in the tanking footage and animation canceled in the kiting footage. I don’t think it’s a fair comparison of dps.

I would definitely agree that with the new cone attack it’s better not to tank, but the fact that you do not animation cancel while tanking makes this seem like it’s framed to make tanking look worse than it actually is. I’d suggest doing a less biased comparison where you animation cancel on both sides. Great advise though

If you tank deerclops you have skill issues, after they made his attack cone, if you are still tanking you should visit doctor or smth.
