This is what Kevin opened my eyes to. How some women make up the rules as they go along even though they start off the conversation with ridiculous ultimatums. She makes 100K plus yet stated in the beginning that she expects a man to take care of her. She is not even remotely looking to settle for a 50 to 60k husband. I love how he does not buy any of her back tracking. I hope she has learned from this encounter. I think she is an attractive & sweet women but she really needs to tweak those expectations. RIP Brotha. You were the best at what you did. We lost a real 1.

I’m 24, average, I got married at 23 and became a housewife. My lovely husband is average too, and hopefully by Gods will, we’ll raise a beautiful a family and have an average life. I don’t see why this lifestyle is looked down upon. I can’t help but blame social media/reality tv in making every woman think only a high value man can make you happy. Honesty, loyalty, respect, kindness and hard working always precedes 6 figures in my opinion.

Unrealistic expectations have pushed the definition of a great man to the level of average. If you have a man who is honest, caring, a good provider, and still rocks your world, isn't average. Having not been sucked into gangs, being violent, abusive, dishonest, and not in jail, makes him righteous, and wanting to be a better man for you doesn't make him average or ordinary. It makes him extraordinary. You're a smart woman who recognizes what she has. I salute you.

Yes my husband is a plumber. He has never made close to 6 figures and I’m well taken care of. It’s never been about the exact amount of money he made. He has always been able to provide. He makes more money than me and if I made $50,00 more than him, WE would just have $50,000 more. I’m so glad I don’t have to be dating out here.

I agree. I think she should focus on older men, maybe mid-50s and older who have already established their legacy. She's slender, good disposition, and quite good looking for her age. Here's the problem: if he dies before her, his assets could be split between her and his own kids. Problem is that women are naturally hypergamous. Once a woman has attained a certain income and set of experiences in life that become the bare minimum bar their partner has to meet. The older you get the more experiences you have and the better chance you have to make money. They cannot lower their standards since it will cause discord in the relationship since she just simply won't be satisfied with a man below her standards. They have effectively priced themselves out. There are plenty of men I know that are truck drivers, plumbers, police officers, electricians and other blue collar jobs that earn six figures. I think most people count these men out.

Exactly, because many women (not all) feel that being married to a trucker for example is not “status” worthy. Basically they can’t brag to their girlfriends about being married to a blue collar man
