Oh my it's so useful teacher Tiffany Summary 1. Memorize a hundred vocabulary in one time and never use them Tips: study based on your ability, stop when it feel stress 2. Saying um instead of pausing Tips: look at the listener and just pause Be confident 3. Apoligizing for your english instead just speaking because they gonna think less on you, not respect Tips: dont worry about poeple, its okay to make mistake, and just simply to say 4. Critic too much to yourself rather than encouraging yourself. Remember: you never satisfy with your personal achievement Tips: chart your progress and see the thing u have learn and document ur achievement 5. Using subtitle only in ur language instead using english Tips: switch the subtitle to english and take note Pay attention into the specific used based on the specific emotions

The five bad habits are : 1.trying to memorize alot of words in one day. 2.Saying um instead of pausing 3.Apologizing too much for your English. 4.criticizing yourself. 5.Using subtitles in your language.

Teacher Tiffany My mother tongue is english. But I was born with a cleft lip and growing up I was bullied about how I speak and how my lip had a cut and how my teeth looked. I became antisocial and to myself and lost confident in myself when it came to communicating. So now I am unable to even communicate. I'm unable to get a sentence out when someone is talking to me. I can be talking and the person I'm talking too act like there in space when I'm talking to them because of my cleft I have this nasal sound when I speak. I'm so fed up with trying to communicate with someone and they act as if I'm not there or as if I'm a nobody or someone always saying something negative about how I talk. I decided to start building my vocabulary and I got on youtube and started looking at different videos to help me with communicating and ran into your channel. And you motivated me try to work on speaking better. And I want to thank you for making your speaking english videos.

Omg, I don't know how, but I just got here and I have to say: you, Tiffany, is an amazing, I'll repeat AN AMAZING PERSON!! I'm an English teacher too and I never felt so inspired by a teacher as I'm feeling after this video. Really, watching you was an outstanding experience. I guess I just fell in love for a teacher (not in a romantically way, okay?) I don't know if you have material for teachers as well, but if you don't, PLEASE do it. I've been teaching for almost 2 years, most of my students are teenagers but I have some adults too. And sometimes I feel insecure because I know that I have a good English, but there are times that I realize that I know nothing and I want to help my students as much as I can. I really love to be a teacher, I'm starting to think I just got the right path of my life and it feels sooo good! But again - sorry, I'm a talktive person too lol - I ask you for take care of the English teachers as well. I sent you a GIANT hug from Brazil 🇧🇷🥰

From 8'40": Tiffany sounds so cool with pauses rather than 'um's! My husband is a sound editor and has spent decades "de-umming"! Yes! This is an actual word - well, it is in British technical radio vocabulary: you edit out the 'um's to shorten the length of an interview if it's too long, or to make the person sound more fluent, or to make the listener concentrate on the information in the message and not be distracted or confused by the 'um's. The person being recorded can end up sounding 100% better - and not the nervous wreck they actually were at the time! With the ums edited out, they are -miraculously - intelligent, articulate and authoritative! Good luck to all of you! And I'm really sorry we English have 50,000 different ways to pronounce 'ou' ! (It's all down to etymology - and invasions!) Though I thought through some ways to make these easier, I think I've written enough ;)

"Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. Have a nice day!"

Wow I don’t know where to start , really ! I watch one of your video last night, and I realize that you have made this video for people like me , and to tell you the truth I listen to it over and over, I have learned one thing as you said English it’s not my first language why do I have to apologize all the time cause I don’t know how to express myself, I’m from Haiti and have exactly five years since I lived here , I feel ashamed to not be able to speak the way I want with confidence like others but guess what I’m going to follow your advice, keep speaking, and be comfortable when I speak and worries about my mistake. I love your teaching Ms Stephanie and your so amazing, thanks a lot.
