I did a parasite cleanse (which is a long process) & it was much easier to loose weight because I was also detoxing chemicals, bacteria, & candida in the process. Felt worse before feeling a lot better. Decided that the doctors had no idea what was causing long covid & their advice was useless and making my life worse. Two years of taking charge of my own health & I’m so grateful I did.

What's a parasite cleanse and how does one determine that it's necessary? In my view, adults in developed countries that don't eat undercooked food, don't really have opportunities to even get parasites (unless it's a tick or something)

Fantastic ! Since owning medical grade scale which measure fat / muscle / bone density I would self experiment with nutrition fasting and exercise just so I can see what effect it does on loosing weight after leg injury I was immobile for 5 months and since I started walking I applied all methods to convert fat in to muscle. Eyes on the price and watching data changing my fat levels in to muscle on chart was so satisfying. I like to have data to be able to truly experience the change. I stopped being consistent after a year and half and it showed streigh away how I'm going slowly back to being overweight. This time it's back to training my mind and truly regain the momentum again as it was fantastic feeling in charge of my body. I'm 44 and starting peri menopausal symptoms which is another layer of understanding my fizjolog. Cardio is not just for your mental health. Typically the first thing people lose with age regarding fitness is endurance.
@yoursofunnyman8 ай бұрын
First thing people with age lose is muscle, and muscle is what affects endurance first. It’s not like they need endurance to climb a mountain they just need mobility from their muscle mass.

I had my 70+ year old Mom and Aunt working with a trainer at the gym before covid. They went 3x/week. They got healthy, balance got better and my mom fell in love with deadlifts and strength training. I have to get them back to the gym.
@yoursofunnyman8 ай бұрын
Endurance is also built up with high intensity interval training not cardio. It’s short bursts of intense fatigue that increase your Vo2 (aka endurance) cardio is honestly useless
@Canadian_Psycho8 ай бұрын
So why do professional athletes and fighters do cardio then? As a former amateur fighter (I'm 35 so I'm old in regards to that world now), the first thing we did was cardio and warm-ups. Saying cardio is 'useless' is a rather dubious statement. I honestly hate doing cardio, but the benefits outweigh the cons. Moving more = Cardiovascular exercise. Taking someone who just lifts weights and expecting them to have a gas tank (aka endurance) for anything other than anaerobic based exercise is a tad silly
@yoursofunnyman8 ай бұрын
@@Canadian_Psycho cardio as in long distance running, yeah is useless. If you want to build on your endurance you would run your hardest for as long as you can manage, then rest, then continue in repetition that’s why people who play soccer can be as fit if not fitter than a marathon runner.

I disagree on not losing any fat on the semiglutide, you do lose some. You also do lose muscle. So you have to not look at it as a silver bullet. If you do it, you need to see it as a short term solution and we should use the time to straighten out our workout routine. But if you think it will just magically get the fat off only, you are going to be disappointed. I would also like to add to what she's saying in this video is, that I agree 100% you have to keep building muscle and use resistance training. However, you have to be careful and build up gradually and not overdue it. If you injure yourself, especially with muscles and tendons it can take a while to heal, then you end up sidelined and less mobile, and the weight sneaks back on. So don't go out cold and try to do too much too soon. Be kind with yourself and listen to your body.
