People forget that when you point 1 finger at someone, there are always 3 fingers pointing back at yourself. How would these people respond to back handed comments dressed up as compliments? Julie...YOU ARE LOVELY and your guidance is AMAZING ❤

I think you’re lovely. When people give me their unsolicited comments about what I’m wearing or how I look, I respond with “I didn’t realize my appearance was that important to you.” It’s especially effective to use on those who like make insults disguised as compliments.

As someone who worked in retail for over 2 decades, the amount of people who feel compelled to comment on someone's physical appearance to their face is staggering . I swallowed it and swallowed it until it made me ill, and then I started clapping back - which of course didn't sit well with my bosses...oh well, guess I'm now intent on manifesting a much better job that's much better suited to who I am and all the brilliant skills I have. We love you for YOU. XXOO

I've had backhanded comments my whole life Julie, and it's taken me my whole adult life, and especially the last few, years, where I began my "waking up" to realise, it's those that say the mean things to me, their problems, not mine. Now I know you know all this because you're awesome, blessed and truly great!! But it still hurts at times, right? Because of you, and others like you, I now know how to navigate these things, so for that Julie, I thank you, and am truly grateful, for all that you do, and for making my life easier to navigate!! 🙏 Plus, you're beautiful, blonde., gray or no hair, I see you, for YOU!! 🙏💖😍

The Power of words. Words have done more harm in the world than any physical weapon we, as humans, have created. When we see an adult beating a child with words, we shudder, and want to help the child. What that child takes in taints that child's world from that moment on, even if they can not consciously recall the event later. Our subconscious mind records it all, forever. Every human being living, no matter the age, has a small wounded child inside of them. And ask yourself before speaking. For what I am about to say/write; Is it Kind? Is it truly necessary? Is it Truth? Namaste Julie Thank you for your word and your wisdom. Christina 🦝

I admire your elegant retort at back-handed compliments. I admire your strength - from the stories of your past to what you've persevered through to reach where you are right now. You carry Grace - that takes some digesting alone . Then, you carry bravery - that takes even more digesting. You carry so much more too, but now, you carry self-love - WOW - you're teaching us now. Im 58, its not easy. I'm grateful to you not-giving-up ! I love watching you grow, in hairstyles, clothes , colours , all of it. You're authentic . You're a warrior, Julie . You matter ! X

My practical advice to people: Put a photo of someone you admire/respect near your computer, or as your phone's lock screen photo, and then look at that person's photo before you hit send on a nasty or passive aggressive message. Would that person who you love/respect send this type of message and what is your intention for doing this? It comes back to mindfulness/awareness.

This really hit home for me. Many years ago, I had a successful career as an international fashion model. Some of the personal comments made by clients on how I looked were very upsetting. Some had no quarms saying it to your face, others waited until you'd left the casting and rang your agent. Being a model opened many doors of opportunity, and for that, I am immensely grateful. It also made me stronger and gave me the confidence to stand back and allow other people to shine. I still have a cry now and again for those tough lessons, and I find it hard to accept a compliment, but I'm working on it. So thank you, Julie, for this valuable lesson on self-worth. And remember, we love you and all that you do for us ❤❤❤

With our society today there is an unnatural focus on looking perfect. It's becoming the norm for people to put so much energy into hair, makeup, plastic surgery. The focus of our energy needs to come back to being authentically yourself. Acceptance of self, which flows on to acceptance of others. I saw you talk about this on your tarot channel. You are so kind to say that people don't mean to say these things. I feel that a lot of people say and do things to make themselves feel better, and this is sad. Lets all work together to make everyone feel worthy ❤

I absolutely adore you. Shame on anybody who says anything negative. They need to look in the mirror and figure out what's going on with themselves that they would ever say mean things to someone else. You, Miss Julie Poole, are a beautiful, kind thoughtful, and giving person. I am truly grateful for all your guidance and support that I can walk into my best life. God bless you❤

I am so sorry to hear about the direct or indirect negative comments towards yourself Julie. I myself often did the same thing, trying to ignore them and trying to transmute them or wash them away. But after what your guides said, I tend to agree. Things needed to be addressed and put it out there. While you are hurt by these comments, still you delivered these messages with compassion and love. I have high respect for you and your bigger heart. Thank you Julie for your wisdom and pure intention of helping other people who are meant to received them. ❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹

Thank you Julie for addressing this….I feel the backhanded compliments all day with my bosses..it’s a ploy and trickery to make me feel bad and push their egos up…..it is a time as you say to stand up, but also I know what they are doing, in doing so I I try to take the high road. It’s still hurtful, I need to make moves and get out of that space. They are toxic…..full stop

Extraordinary, Beautiful, Julie, I can’t thank you enough for your phenomenal mindful example, love, knowledge, skills, gifts, mentoring and reading!! The tone and temperament you model even when you are expressing your reaction to unkind criticisms/ judgements is another remarkable example of trust and forgiveness…Thank you for asking everyone to be more kind, fair, self-aware, to respect boundaries, “to think 1st and speak later” and for suggesting we all pay more attention to our words and our feelings! I’m sorry for the uninvited and uncaring comments to you!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe I’m hearing this but then thinking about it, I can unfortunately. People and their comments has always baffled me. I’ve always had people say ‘I’m too nice’ and I can’t stand that..and when people say an awful comment, I’m in that much shock I have no come back until I’m home then I dwell on it which is so annoying. People are so rude. Us genuine ones wouldn’t even think that as we’re here to hear your talent and your loveliness 💜

People who need to trash others to make themselves feel better? No thanks. Junior high was along time ago. I hope those people find whatever it is they need, and are missing in their lives for inner peace and joy. Julie, I truly admire how youv'e put yourself out there and made a successful living from taking something you're passionate about to help others. It takes a certain amount of strengh and vulnerablity and we could all learn from that. Your channels and your book have really helped me along my journey and I am very thankful for that. Rudes commenters are curious to me. Would they go to your home and announce the same opinions and insults about your home or food you offer them? I think it's the anonymity of the situation that emboldens them to dump their thoughts and opinions on others.

Julie, I can't thank you enough for this wonderful message.. I most certainly have been going through this from a friend of 24 yrs.. Likewise, I have had sessions with an occupational therapist about a toxic relationship where I walked away, and part of that growth journey was too look at myself and think about how I was trying to get a message across about the hurt I was feeling and how was that being received.. During this wonderful spiritual journey that I am on now, my guides have directed me to both your channels, for which I will be forever grateful.. ps I can't wait for a copy of your book to arrive I ordered this week.. Keep up the wonderful work, Julie.. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺

Thanks Julie! Glad you bring that message. Lately I felt like the Queen of Swords, putting strong boundaries around myself. Last month a follower give me one of those dissguised insult, wich what I read between línes was "youre not good enough yet". And I had the need to step for myself and mirrored the energy back to her in a kind way but mirrored at last Im usually dont carry others people projections on me because Im a recovered people pleaser and overcome my need of get external approval, wich was a huge part of my soul growth, but this was the second time this person overstepped into my personal boundaries. Of course Is not my suscriber anymore 😅 but Im glad because make the space for the kind of suscribers that I really deserved to attract. Those who valorate what I bring to the table and came to find confort and inspiration trough my work and support me in a fair and loving exchange of energy to cocreate a better reality for us. With this video you are teaching me a better way to set boundaries and Im pretty grateful for that.❤

I sure hope that doesn't count when you are calling out the evil that a group is trying to do. I'm in the states. UK has beaten back the darkness. France is my hero right now the way they came together and beat back the darkness. Now it's our turn and the darkness is pushing hard. I don't believe in back handed compliments if I ever accidentally do that and I catch it I apologize, if I don't catch it I hope the person lets me know. Linguistics can be a fickel thing. No if I have something to say I just say it. As far those making the comments to you well normally to be honest I would say F them, but I'm probably not as nice as you. Actually I love all the looks and to be honest they have given me some great inspiration. I've never dyed my hair before, to be honest I've always been a chicken the most I have gotten is highlights but I'm almost 59. I'm sometimes stuck at home for months only getting out to see Drs. I'm disabled and they have this hang up for some dumb reason of not letting you drive when you have seizures. I know not very funny but sometimes I have to make jokes even dumb ones to just feel a little better. So I've been looking at different ideas on how to at least give myself a bit of a shake up and change, I also don't know if it will make me look older, since I lost my teeth I feel like I look much older. So I love all the different styles it's been giving me lots of ideas, I just have to rewatch the video sometimes because I get lost in what if I did a cut something like that or a color something like that ya sounds dumb but what can I say maybe new me new life. I know it doesn't work that way but I can dream. As for those what I call cattiness, to me that's always come across as someone being jealous to be honest. You were/are able to pull off every one of those looks not something a lot of people can do, so rather than let it give them cool ideas or just be happy for you, they get catty. Me I'm going to flat out say something to someone but things like that why it's just people letting the green eyed monster out. No right now I don't know what I will get in return for being still a activist have been my whole life and being disabled aint going to change that, I just have to do it mostly on line. But we are in a fight for our countries soul and I for one I'm in it to win it. So I post a lot of stuff about all the stuff they have planned like project 20 25, the decisions the judges have made, legacy media and it's BS, losing our rights and freedom's because of this court ya I post it. On rare occasion if someone gets on there and makes the wrong comment I go off, it's gotten to the point that people trying to shove their religion down others throats when they aren't even following the actual word, and a few other things. So Pagan is a large umbrella term, there are lots of ways and when people start acting myself or especially others I do go off but in a way that always shuts them up. I explain things the church couldn't get the common people to stop their traditions so the church took those things and incorporated them into the church in so many ways, I also go off by teaching history, when as a kid you learn from those that lived the last great time of darkness and being a history geek well got to try to get through to people. Sorry I can't just outright say the proper words like having to use the time of darkness but the AI here is very scared of certain history. On Facebook it doesn't even know history of things our country went through in the 60s and on occasion I do go off on people but they know I'm going off I don't believe in playing games, I also well according to a manger I once had told me my best quality and worst quality were the same. I don't suffer fools well. My temper believe it or not is much better than it once was, but I'm a fighter for what is right so I don't know where all that puts me, but I haven't been scolded yet by my guides, ancestors or others. So I figure I got to be doing something right. As far the catty people well I already said how I feel about that. Like I said you have given me some awesome ideas. There's a saying that I wish more people would learn when it comes to other people. You do you, me do me, and that helps us all stay happy and free. Coexisting is how it should be. Much love and light 🙏 Blessings to you and stay one of the bright lights 🙏💖🙏💖

I don’t entirely agree with that. I’m not saying it’s ok to be mean or to put someone down. But come on - aren’t we allowed to express our opinions?

PS. I would never say to anyone ‘you look 20 years older’. But to say that you liked the other hair color better - I don’t see an issue with that.

Not when it is not asked for, no, it is not ok. Comment on the content not on me. Personal opinions of me and my appearance are not welcome here, thank you

I do, and that is what matters. The fact that you cant see that it is an insult speaks volumes. This is not the right channel for you if you cannot respect my boundaries.

@@manifesting101withjuliepoole First of all, like I said earlier, I would NEVER say anything mean about your or someone else’s looks. I’m here for the content, so your looks are irrelevant. Secondly - I am not the one that has insulted you in any shape or form. I simply expressed my opinion about people commenting. Not about how you look. Thirdly - you look lovely and I’m not planning on unfollowing you from either of your channels or returning your book 😊

Hi Julie! My 2 cents… your channel and you do absolutely what you want but I’m wondering if maybe turning off comments may be more appropriate? I don’t think the comments section is really necessary. You make a video and I get to sit here and enjoy what you have to offer (for free!). Whether I like it or not is irrelevant. Whether I want to argue or whatever is really irrelevant. Although this shouldn’t be necessary, I know that your channel will continue to grow and similar comments will probably continue. Human nature 🤷🏽‍♀️. I also saw that you get over 3000 comments and I’m guessing you read all that. I think that’s CRAZY amount of comments to go through, and probably not necessary. Again, just my 2 cents. Unless I’m missing something… do you get paid less by KZfaq if comments are off?

Slows channel growth if there are no interactions. Also, I don't feel its fair to turn them off for the few, when the many are kind and want to comment on the video. Comments help people support each other too. If it continues, I will turn them off for a while, just to protect my energy until it is stronger, as it has been weakened by the continued snipes.

maybe this you are going to delete as well but here it goes, why deleting the comments? everybody is in title of their opinion even if we don' t like it. Why giving it so much importance? So people like you blond, others not, personally I love your natural hair. Why are you being so sensitive? Why even bother? The more comments you have, the more people that would see your videos, aint that the point? Just "scroll down"

A few comments I am not sensitive too, but when they keep coming, it becomes too much. This message I put out is my truth and if you do not agree with it, and cannot respect it, please don't come back.
