The moving averages crossover works. You just have to adapt these moving averages to the conditions of the market you're trading. Moving averages + MACD make me earn a lot of money in NASDAQ index.

Great lesson, i think you pointed on a strong point; the moving averages are lagging indicators. It is akin to driving your car by using the rear view mirror to direct your forward movement.

Hi there, as for me, I'm using Bolinger bands for Moving average. For example if I want to use MA 12 and 48- I'll be using BB 12 deviation 0.236 and BB48 dev 0.236. that's for tf m5

As for H4 I would suggest 6high and low, 30 and 120, add BB 30 with dev 1.618

the cross over system is best when combined with multiple timeframes that show a pocket of "blank" space price can surge into.

This crossover strategy has very good entries, but I normally move my stop-loss lower when I get gains. One should not be too greedy and just take your profits after 50 or 100 pips.

why would you 'take profit' at the next crossover? why not go for a strict routine of having profit to loss ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 and then you close your trade?

Hello sir my Question is if i am reverse all those trades then i think make profit because every trading strategies making just lose and lose .. so if i am choose simple cross over and done all trade butt reverse then i am make profit or not ? Trading View, there are free trial version and paid version, many pro traders used it, you could switch timeframe or you could use multi timeframe.
