I like your channel way better than vacuum wars! I feel like the problem with servicing vacuums, is that if you can't do it yourself, you might as well buy a new vacuum. Labor costs are through the roof these days.

I had a Shark plug in upright for about 10 years. Worked great, definitely got my money's worth out of it. It was time to replace it, because it was not repairable and was starting to show signs of wear. Considered battery stick vacuums. The ones that performed well enough to consider using as a whole -house vacuum were $700+. Ended up with a Miele C3 instead. Yes, i have to plug it in and replace bags and pull around a canister... But it has incredible suction, i know it's actually cleaning stuff out of the carpet. It also doesn't release anything into the air. And, it'll last forever. It can be repaired if anything does actually break. Less broken trash in the landfills, i hope.

I have to say, I love my Miele. It is a C3, too. They are fairly expensive, but after owning one, I cannot get myself into any other vacuum. I have owned vacuums that cost way more and vacuums that cost way less, as I do collect them and work on them. If I could only have one machine, it would be a Miele C3. No, it isn't absolutely perfect, but it is close. I wish they were less expensive to buy and maintain, but quality doesn’t come cheap. Half of the things that make me love it so much are the ergonomic features that make it so easy to use. I don’t have to bend over and mess with pigtails to change heads, attachments, adjust settings, etc like I did with my other canisters. The other things I love - build quality, carpet and hard floor performance, filtration, and it is quiet (for a vacuum). It is also my favorite machine to use when I detail cars for my customers, which I do on the side. I have learned that if someone just wants pure cleaning power, they can get by with a $300 machine. However, if they want better quality, something hygienic, etc, spending more is usually necessary. There are some exceptions, but not many.

Do you have other channels too? I hope so Im going to go look. Are you guys friends? Co-workers, father and son? I can tell. The hue of the shots looked like Miami but I doubt it is. I am looking to replace a 10 year old Shark Lift-Away Deluxe. It still runs great, but I have so much duct tape on the hose part because it’s just old and breaking open. The tape then causes jams because the tape attracts the dirt and eventually it’s a whole clog. There’s actually tape on a lot of parts! But I clean the filters, and the motor keeps going. We have cats, large area rugs and some hard wood. I want a corded upright with lots of attachments. I compost the dirt. I just like your channel and hope to decide by watching more videos.

Black and decker on the other hand has amazing support, we had problem with the roller slipping and black and decker sends you the replacement fast. They have a real 2 year warranty.

Everyone always recommend more expensive vacuums. I often got vacuums that are between cheap and average cost. Also whatever is on sale and if good reviews. We have an upright vacuum to use alot. But we got stick vacuum for vacuuming under bed and quick pick up. Recently got a handheld one I use for my bed and furniture cause it tends to get fuzzy and easier to use as attachments on the stock vaccum and upright feel awkward.

I bought a Sirena bc of really bad and severe allergies. Please do not buy it unless you're ok w bulky stuff. It's a great idea and definitely comes w enough attachemnts but not pracrical for most busy and lazy cleaners. It made me depressed, bc after hours and hours of research I thought I found something that would be a long term investment, but I really made a ad choice. This video was great. Features that attracted me to the serena was the water dust lock and hepa combination to prevent any dust returning back to the environment. Later found out allergies could've been further aggravated by construction debris in the basement left behind by contractor, unknownst to us. There were definitely environmental factors we didn't know that caused health aggravation and didnt need a Sirena. Some of the products you mentioned here are great choices and I look forward to considering them for my goto daily use choices. Thank you!

@Vacuumnerds , help!! I'm looking for the best lightweight cordless vac that has an easily swappable battery pack. I work as a house cleaner and portability is key but not every home has accessible outlets and obviously on a full day of cleaning, a 40 min Dyson battery life won't cut it. Nobody is making content about my needs... Please, do you have any recommendations?? 🙏❤

Dyson V11 has a swappable battery pack. Shark Stratos Cordless does too, but I think the Dyson ecosystem is bigger and easier to find parts. For commercial cleaning, I don't know how long any consumer vacuum will last though.

At around $200ish the Shark IX141 is worth looking at. amzn.to/3RB9lzV All Sharks have good HEPA filtration. It will run around 40 minutes. No cordless vacs do a good job shag really, but they'll maintain it a bit. They don't have the power of an upright. The Kenmore 81214 200 amzn.to/3RB9lzV is a great canister in your price range. No... I spent close to $1800 dollars (todays value) in 1998 for a Rexair Rainbow E series vacuum that is still holding up just fine today and runs like it is brand new. It never needed any maintenance and outcleaned any other vacuum on the market. It is still in use but due to it being extremely heavy it is only used on the first floor of the home.
