The warmth of the wood tones, soft early lighting, pops of color with textiles and treasures of the past are my favorites. I like that she has a place for her tv that blends so well with her decor. That kitchen Hoosier-style cabinet is beautiful! I have Doty ancestors and never knew how to pronounce exactly.😅

I LOVE everything about it! You asked what our favorite part is.. the fact that everything is old and well loved. I love primitive pieces, decor, just all the things! From the moment you stepped in the door i knew i would be in absolutely awe, when you panned across the room, it was confirmed real quick! Not just the pieces & decor, but the overall feel or vibe of stepping back in time, to a much slower, laid back time. And a time when beautiful things were much different than today, handmade things that not everyone else had or could go buy from the store. Things that were loved & cherished, passed down as heirlooms because they were made with love & things were made to last! Verses the way things are now, everyone can run to the big box stores & get the same pieces. And things aren't really cherished because of that reason.. it came off the shelf, not from your grandmas, grandmas house. I'm obsessed with primitive & antique furniture, its gorgeous! I wish i had an older home & could totally furnish it like this, just primitive & antique things! That's my dream😊 I love all her faux fireplaces, they're beautiful! And her quilts are Sooo beautiful, i want them all!! I'll just have one of everything please!😊 She truly has a stunning home, well curated, she really has it decorated with the most amazing things! Thank you for taking us on this tour & to Karen for welcoming us also, it was amazing!😊
