This was a great interview. I know many independent artists in Louisville and Nashville...and his words about cranking out 11 albums that suck. 😅 I also know an indie rapper put of Nashville with millions of fans that puts out an album every few months. His music saves my life, song by song. Always puts in quality work 💯 PS. I met you years ago at scribble Jam early 2000s. an at 2 shows in Louisville. Please come back to Louisville or Cinci or somewhere close soon. 🙏 ❤

You kind of always work for someone. Like say you try to go independent. You try to start a business that relies upon no-one. It's not actually as easy as it sounds. You could buy land, plant a forest, and use the trees to produce furniture to sell. Now you're working for the bank and the inland revenue and the shipping companies and your customers. We live in a society. We should be working together. Being "independent" isn't even a good thing. It's the capitalists that want you to think that you're independent so you rely on them rather than your network.
