💡💡💡About me:💡💡💡
Hi! I’m Sergey! I’m creating easy and comprehensible stories in Russian.
I’m teaching Russian since 2016, and although I’m not a professional teacher, I do have a lot of experience and I’m a language learner myself. I use comprehensible input (CI) and TPRS, which are some of the best methods in natural language acquisition. On my channel you don’t have to memorize bunch of words or learning grammar rules. Just sit, watch, read and enjoy!

То, как вы рассказываете истории, может заставить нас поверить, что русский язык легко усвоить . Но я думаю, что это отличный способ усвоить фразы и лексику для новичков вроде меня. У Вас тоже есть настоящий талант к повествованию.Спасибо, что научили нас Вашему прекрасному языку в приятной манере.Вся моя поддержка других сказок для нас русских школьников:-)😊

When watching these videos, is it best to have the English subtitles on, or is it better to just listen to the Russian? Which method is better for learning the language?
@InRussianFromAfar

Both! You can watch 1 video 3-4 times with Eng subs, with Russian subs, no subs, and then again with Subs :)

Great story! Quick question, when you say « ведьма хотела чтобы он был толстый» why in this circumstance do you not say толстым? I’m still a little unclear on when exactly instrumental case applies but I thought it would after был as in быть толстым, and also because it was a past tense state. I would really appreciate it if you could provide some insight please 🙂

Javiermdq: No, because some words are not possible to “act out” or pantomime since they are more abstract. Secondly, all the viewers learn in different ways, some with visual and reading support, others with hand gestures. Please be a little more tolerant towards ALL LEARNERS, and not just focus on yourself.
