I am a christian but I find Qur'ans account of its verses and history of its phropets/messengers (such as Abraham, Noah, Ismael, Jesus, etc...) more detailed and believable by means of how it is being told to which are not to be found on Christian's Bible... - Qur'an indeed are Words from the Creator...

May Allah protect us all. I saw trees in a valley in Australia, they were all burnt in a fire. The barks were black. But now they had green leaves again. These trees would again be burnt in another fire, and would bear green leaves again after that. Seeing this I was reminded of Allah's description in the Quran of jahannum. Subhan Allah.

I keep coming back to this episode because of the powerful resolution to the patience of Nuh (AS). It's truly a beautiful tale, even if the fact he'd held out for 950 years is a rather haunting fact... but it brings tears to the eyes.
