JAK Doctor. It is important to know the narrations that come from different sources and distinguish them from Saheeh narrations, otherwise people will believe and spread what they want regardless of authenticity.

They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew! (2:102)

interesting that all those Sa7abas also narrated this as well which shows there may be elements of truth to it but probably exagerated by ahlil kitab.

Are these prophetic ahadith, athar from sahaba or Isrealiyat?

@@markward3981 As mentioned from 4:45 on, it cannot authentically be attributed to the Prophet ﷺ, but rather to some sahaba and tabieen, so they are athar, but ultimately Isra'iliyat because it goes back to Ka'b al-Ahbar

When one titles self with "Dr." it should talk about his/her great knowledge. But if the same person talks about opinions from others, not even own opinion on some topic, it simply talks about lack of knowledge, cuz there can be only opinion or knowledge on the same topic at the same time. If I can give you an advice (for free): yes, start with opinion, but after coming to the Qur'an clean as a newborn to read and understand by own potential what is said in the only aayet on this topic... then, do the same again, and again, and again, and when Allah as Rabb wills He will teach you, insaan, what you don't know. So, then you'll get the knowledge, and you may put "Dr.", but I think you'll lost that wish on the way... All best.

A PHD also gives other opinions so that his students are well versed and knowledgeable on what's right and what's wrong. Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, a renowned Islamic scholar and founder of the Hanbali school of thought, had his son memorize incorrect hadiths. This method was used so that his son could distinguish between authentic and fabricated hadith.

@@hghant Nobody can distinguish between right and wrong unless they have knowledge. All knowledge comes from El-'Aleem, not from men no matter which title they put on themselves. I'll give you a free advice also: leave dead and turn yourself towards El-Hayy, cuz you don't know who dead really were, but you can get knowledge on One Who Lives.

The thumbnail is click bait. We know the angels cannot go against instructions from Allah as they don't have freewill. So why pander to some non-Muslims belief that area getting widespread attention through popular media like movies and now social media? A better title would've been the 'two angels who shared knowledge to men' or something down that line. Any Muslim passing or scrolling who don't have the time will naturally be planted with a seed of doubt.

The title "Fallen Angel?" isn't necessarily clickbait. It's meant to draw attention to a discussion about a non-authentic hadith narrated by some Sahabis. Here's what you should take from the video: 1.The story of Harut and Marut being fallen angels is an Israelite tradition that might be embellished. 2.Some Sahabas have narrated this story, which suggests there may be some elements of truth to it. 3. it's important to use critical thinking to see incorreect narrations and also worth considering whether there's a lesson or a grain of truth in these narratives. Perhaps the story reflects the idea that even angels have difficulties to understand the challenges humans face. it makes me think that even as humans we shouldnt judge other muslims who fall into sin because we might not know what challenges they are going through and if we would even pass the test.

When there’s no actual knowledge about what really happened about the two angels from the Quran or the Hadith why give the Jewish version when they can distort the Torah how can their views be even remotely be mentioned how can you believe that they are the fallen angels when Allah knows best and he gives no knowledge of it to the Quran just for a video substance you want to raise curiosity about the unknown realm
