My dear friend and spiritual mentor, Julie Haverstick is a retired school teacher. She created the "Love Chair" (remember the 'naughty chair?") and invites any child who acts out, or in some way feels they need love, to sit in the Love Chair. A 5 year old girl was the first child to arrive one day, walked into the classroom, didn't remove coat or backpack and went straight to the Love chair. She sat there until all the children arrived, saying nothing, just staring at the floor. Julie had the children begin an activity and quietly asked the little girl if she was ready to begin class. The child looked at Julie with tears in her eyes and whispered that she'd had a fight with her mother and left home as she was being yelled at. Julie asked her what she needed now and the little girl said, "I just want to tell mom I love her." I realize this is 2 yrs ago but had to comment! Ever since I broke free from depression years ago, I’ve been trying to advocate lessons for kids to learn in a school environment the interpersonal and intrapersonal skills that our educational system does not provide! The responsibility finger gets pointed to parents who work all day while kids attend school most of their days! I believe it’s a team effort but most importantly belongs in the schools. I’ve been doing Dispenza’s work recently and agree that some of Dr Joe’s aspects also crossover to the cognitive and social teachings I want to bring forward in every school environment! I have not yet been successful in doing so! I’ve had this vision for years! Tried many times to manifest this into my life! I understand fully what Dr Joe’s work is all about. I feel I am close! I'm still crying at Danielle's testimonial. This was indeed divinely timed. Before recounting how this blew my heart open, I wish to give thanks and appreciation to whomever posts these videos, and DOES NOT title them anything other than xxx's testimonial. As with so many of you here in the thread, my vision became clearer, and the knowing that I am on the right path became ever stronger. I too, was so very touched, and cried heaps with resonance when I heard Dr. Joe say that all he wants is to go into hospitals and heal kids, without touching them, without taking money, just go in and heal. To hear another being say that and have the tools to do it blew my heart open.. That was a couple of weeks back and I've been "all in," since, listening to videos first, now making notes, and practicing. As Danielle, I also work with kids, but kind of incognito...Hired by different companies as a native English speaker, I work throughout Austria with young people. Regardless of their age or level of understanding, the first that I relay to them is how amazing they are, that they are better than, smarter than, stronger, faster, prettier, more handsome etc.....than they think they are. We have conversations that they're not having with anyone older then them, as I offer them the space and safety to just be themselves. By the end of 3-5 days, there's hugs, tears and "please come back."... I write this little bit because I don't know how it evolves, I only know that I'm to keep going and it is evolving, and will continue. Thank you Danielle for this immense testimonial. Yesterday, in a moment of great appreciation, I said to myself that all I want is to work with young people, to wake them up to their whole self and I also told myself that we need more clarity with this vision... Danniel, I couldn’t sleep and wake up 3:30 am and now I am watching your testimony, I am interior architect but I have burning designer to help children, help in a way they are love and they can’t do anything wrong. Dear Danielle and Dr. Joe you would not be surprised when I tell you that this was really what I needed to hear this morning. Last night after the evening meditation I just was inspired to write down a note for myself to sit with and write down in as many details what my vision for my life is. Even though I have been doing the morning and evening meditation for a month now that part of the vision of my future self has not been fully clear. So after last night's note this morning I am like "we'll yeah, I need to sit with it", but I could feel my enthusiasm wavering and then this video just found me.
