Marion LaPierre I believe by thinking of it as “surrendering to a higher power” we disempower ourselves. The point is to KNOW that WE have power & to trust it, own it & use it proactively. Our power comes from a Universal source but it’s ours to create with, not completely surrender to. Surrendering is what many people do, which is only necessary for accepting what’s beyond our control, but surrendering all of our power isn’t what Dr. Joe teaches. I believe that shift in perception is important-& empowering. All the best.

@@snowyhogsmeade Thank you for your question. That was 2 years ago and sadly, I did not get notifications properly so I missed @valentina as well. I don't remember what state I was in then or what my epiphany was. I only know that is when I discovered Dr. Joe and I've been 'on the path' for years but his work lit me up in a new way. I was finally diagnosed with Graves in about 1988 after suffering from so many things for most of my life. For years the GP would tell me 'it's all in your head'. I did take medication for 12 months and then I quit because I am a believer in my body's ability to heal. I had slipped into a sad state like Sansan. It's such a long story. All of that to say that since that diagnosis and the voodoo curse from the Doc and my then, husband, I have never been to a doctor for anything other than stitches since. I am well and if I occasionally slip down the slippery slope of life with all that is going on, I remind myself that "I have a powerful mind and I can create anything". My life is full of synchronicities and I am so grateful for Dr. Joe and so many others who so generously shine their light for us when we fall into a bit of darkness. I feel pretty sure that I, at the time I wrote that comment, realized that I needed to work on my energy centers and, oddly, I was just thinking of that today when your comment popped up in my notifications. Thank you! Be blessed.

That's great you are being tenacious. Have you tried a different mantra such as I AM HEALED , I am stronger every day. Or I feel stronger everyday. Keep up the great work!! :)

I agree with you, you are so right It also takes courage and discipline to do the work when we are tired and ill and you have to really decide to use your free will to do this for yourself like brushing your teeth and taking care of yourself. And when you are ill and have neurological conditions you are even more stressed and you forget more things, and sometimes your brain will have you forget this because your ego says, ah, not today. And you give in to that until you realize that's a red flag to put the ego in time out and hit the pause button and become the master of the brain and start the work. The formula.
