aw crap nobody ever told me this. for months ive been leaving my recurve bow, strung, standing on a limb, and only shooting it on saturdays. whoops

Is it really that easy to twist a recurve limb? It just standing in the corner straight up?

Dude what... No. Never leave your bow strung when you are not using it. That's unneeded tension on the bow.

What about storing a bow laying on it's side?

What about a flatbow? Can you just store it strung?

Is it ok to have the pins on the riser side of the limb bolts, so the Limbs are not touching the rack. Bows are unstrung with tips pointing the ground ??????

As long as the pegs the bow is sitting on is close to the handle.

Nah, nonsense I have stored my bows vertically on one limb for 7 years now. Absolutely no deformation occurred. But I absolutely will not store my bows strung, never !!!..... fiberglass compounds yes strung, way too much work to unstring.
