I bought this ball in January. Before the Absolute, my league average was 146. For the 2nd half of the season, it was 171. I know it's a hybrid, but the finish is nearly a pearl. When I miss right, this ball recovers. When I miss left, it slides into the pocket. Incredible. Now, can somebody explain why it was discontinued?

I am FLOORED!!! I rather enjoy your videos…..out of all the videos I’ve watched…I just realized today that you are at Waterford Lanes in Waterford, Mi….and that you are actually from the area! Lol great job btw!….I haven’t bowled at Waterford since it became Waterford…however I did bowl there a few times when it was Premier Lanes with the old lanes, and let me say that it was not so “Premier” if you will! I’m glad for D.C., he’s a hell of a guy and it’s ashame what happened to Lakewood!

I simply love the look of this ball. From it's looks to it's performance in reviews. I wish I had need for it. Because at this point, I'm only going to buy it because I want it. Eventually I'm going to have to back my truck up to the door of the bowling alley so I can bring in every ball I decide I must have. How many balls does someone truly need on the lanes with him? If it goes by the rule of motorcycles and guitars the answer is always... Just one more...

Hello JR great video!!! I just bought the Absolute for those long oil patterns and from what I’ve seen from you and others so I got it. Question though: Have you changed the surface at all since the video?? I have heard people change to 1000 then polish cuz the ball wasn’t quite driving to the pocket right after a few games. I’m going to bowl without any changes before I make any adjustments just to see. Have you experienced any of this or heard of anyone doing the same?? Thanks again and thanks for those videos I love them!!!!

I love the Absolute! I actually drilled 2 of them. My first Absolute is drilled pin down, 85 × 4 1/2" × 75. The second Absolute that I drilled is pin up, 90 × 4 1/2" × 45. This ball is so clean and easy through the front part of the lane. I don't have to heave or force the ball through the front. The pin down ball is nice and round on the back and can play slightly straighter angles. The pin up ball is a monster on the backend where I can stand left and swing the ball out wide!

Absolute is an amazing ball. Drives through the pins with minimum deflection...no 7 or 10s...rolled 276 out the box. Might have to change down to a less aggressive ball when lanes break down because that ball will take off if you don't have the speed to keep it on track.

I'm looking for a new ball that hooks aittke sooner than my Burner would this be ideal for me. I just recently started started to curve it and I'm looking for a ball with a little bit more reaction to it I'm either looking at a Black widow or a Scorpion are these good choices or should I get a ball like thus that's a little. Orr aggressive. Thank you

I am a senior leaguer and try not to spin it. I don't have a lot of speed,,and I wonder if maybe this is too strong for me. Looks like a great ball though.

I got this ball after watching this review awhile back.. I can’t throw it well to save my life.. Its a heavy oil ball and I have to throw it on dry patterns.. I get my phaze 2 to hook more than the Absolute.. I don’t even understand why.. I am a misfit I guess LOL…

Oh, that's why you're looking at an asym hybrid. The OG volatility technically is, but rolls like a solid. The OG parallax is pretty good, not sure what you think of buying 2nd hand stuff. It also depends on how much sport vs. house you bowl. The night road out reads and out hooks the Phvze nicely on sport but they're much closer on house.
