yh, that green hand projectile counter isn't in street fighter 5, but the move is called the banishing flat, it can be used for a fast dash forward advance or as a projectile counter

yh, would've been amazingly surprised had they made him just that big bigger and taller to match a more realistic look to what its actually like to his size in the game depictions.

He looks great though I notice his head and hands seem a shade paler than his body. I also notice he is missing the Banishing Flat move flame effects. Is it possible for him to squeeze another Street Fighter between his legs for his piledriver move?

Awesome figure, can't wait to have my Reptile and see if the joints are tighter like this figure.And yes, for his price, he needed the flaming fist in my opinion.

it's not a thing in part 5 , he now has a mode where his skin turns read and has natual armor on his body , but the trade off is he becomes way slower.

I think the stiff joints are a necessity due to having him holding up other Storm SF figs (360 pile driver, bear hug, etc)

Would you say the articulation on the M. Bison is bad? I've read some reviews saying he can barely move at all. I saw your review and I don't think so.

That is his opponent attack breaker move or thing as you said. Sagat knee bend should be that deep.

His green hand special move is not in Street Fighter 5 that's probably why they didn't add it for the figure.

great review! Love what Storm Collectibles is doing with Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat so far. Will need to add Zangief to my collection.What other lines does Storm have in the works? I know Tekken is one, is there any others fighting games like King of Fighters lined up?

If they didn't invest so heavily in the one or two "buff" style builds they have up front, it would be cool if they did a Dead or Alive wave of figures sooner rather than later. Probably a pipe dream though :)

The action figure looks exactly like in SFV. He doesn't hunch over like in SF4 or the Alpha/VS games. He's supposed to be 7 feet tall and compared to the other characters (Ryu/Bison) he looks that size. If they ever do Abigail/Hugo, then you will see massive figure that towers over the other characters.

Zangief is almost exactly 7 feet tall per game stats. Ryu is 5'9", which means Zangief is 1'3" taller than Ryu. At a 1/10 scale like Ryu is in, that would make the Ryu figure just about 7 inches tall (69 real life inches/10 = 6.9 inches). Zangief at a 1/10 scale would make him just over 8 inches tall (84 real life inches/10 = 8.4 inches tall). I think they made Ryu slightly too tall, so that might be why Zangief's height doesn't look right.

i think the problem is that the game model doesnt match the official stats. he looks way taller in game.

After looking at SFIV, Zangief does appear to actually be taller. I found an image of Zangief and Sagat both standing up straight, and Zangief is supposed to be 7 feet compared to Sagat's 7'4". But, Zangief is actually taller than Sagat in the image. Maybe Capcom just corrected things when they went to SFV finally?

He doesn't have the green hand in SF5, instead he can use his head to counter a fireball. I also think it's time for Storm to make female figures, this Gief would look great with a R. Mika on his side

Hey Anthony, I just got this figure, im having a big problem with the right arm. I can't move it at all without it popping out. The left arm is perfect but the right one has to be in on spot. What can I do or is there a customer service from Storm to get help for this issue?

I think the Storms are quite a bit bigger in scale compared to the Street Fighter figuarts so you'd have to do some angling work for photos and stuff.

yeah i checked it out. Just making sure cuz in this video it looked like 8.5 when u measured it but you stated 8.75. saw that the original SOTA zangief was 8.5. I figured since SOTA Sagat is 8 inches flat (noted in your video) that maybe this Zangief might work with SOTA.

raw blze well sentry fought world war hulk to a stalemate partially due to the fact that sentry has some sort of "calming powers" and while world war hulk was much stronger than the regular hulk he was nowhere near world breaker hulk, WB hulk literally unintentionally caused earthquakes across the eastern seaboard BY WALKING! The only way I could see sentry defeating WB hulk would be to unleash the void which would be a bad idea. Plus WB hulk never fought molecule man.

AnthonysCustoms that is really old. I think I first heard it on the G4 channel way back then and more recently not sure if it was one of watch mojos list or the know. It wasn't like a gay character but more like a out of the closet type of thing. Very disappointing for me. A man that can rip a part a bear that to me was as macho as you could think of.
