It honestly looks like the developers are afraid to go out with the animations to me. Gojo’s hollow purple animation looked a bit rushed, Geto didn’t do much, Toji didn’t really look like it hurts (I think they could’ve done what he did to Gojo (all the stabbing stuff I mean), Mai’s ultimate was really boring and Momo was also kind of boring. I feel like Cursed Slash was rushed or something like that. What I will say is I still like how Gojo and Geto looked in the combo ult

I think it looks rushed since they didn't want the cutscenes to be TOO long. It would be kinda annoying to have to watch a 30 second ult every match, even if you are the one that uses it.

You have a point but they did a lot for Sukuna’s domain expansion, which does take a while. Then again that’s an entirely different thing from a regular ult in the game and if the ults were too long that’d probably be annoying to sit through

The amount of fan services with the 3 paid dlc characters are insane. Gojo with all his techniques in cutscenes almost straight from the anime . Geto with his signature cursed spirits during that time , especially the angry expression with his ult fighting against Toji. And Toji whipping out the chains and the pose after slicing the Rainbow dragon are also so close to the anime , just so good 🤌

@@thelonewolfgamer_unus9577 It isn't about the gameplay It's about the effort they put in with the game with the Main Menu looking like a DVD Menu and the story is pretty much a Visual Novel with cut and pasted scenes from the show itself (Gameplay is good for me but I can't exactly find a lobby because 1. low count on PC and 2. no Crossplay)

Its still insane to me how bright this game is, like its a show about curses and you make a game without a single shadow. High noon on summer solstice lookin stages. The supers have a bit better direction now at least, in the launch roster it felt like they were scared to take even the slightest liberty with the animations and had to remake everything shot for shot even if it had no impact.

The animations are improving but the thing is it feels like they lack imagination with them, like they took gojo being high and incorporate it well into the ult and overall he was done perfectly but there are some outliers like toji and geto, like tojis ults were so devastatingly underwhelming it made me sad, and getos rainbow dragon ult just lacked something to actually make it good. I am not trying to say they did bad, the animations are a lot better than most of the base game rosters but it lacks innovation and it overall gives it just makes the ults bland so I hope when shibuya gets done, they truly decide to take their time and think of some good choreography for them that show the best of shibuya.

I think the problem is the ults are fine but everyone us use to bombastic balls to the walls explosion at the end of sn ult.if your coming from other anime titles. The storm series ults mostly end in huge explosions and with the exception of a few dont have that.
