Eu até poderia concordar com vc se não fosse o descaso da EA em resolver alguns problemas, o cavalo Highlander que não morre nem com tiro de canhão, a luminosidade e bem precária facilitando para os que vivem campeando, mas os mapas são bem melhores que o btf 4. Porém, o melhor para mim sempre será o btf3

“ you are not expected to survive” is a haunting line, it perfectly fits the theme of ww1 and its something not many people realise how dark it is

The first modern warfare showed you that even you as the player character could die, but this showed you that it wasn't always just you who died but every other soldier around you no matter the weapon or position could die just the same and that's truly revolutionary

Honestly probably best battlefield game ever made! Still constantly played many years later. Visuals, story, smoothness & overall gameplay was just bad-sick. The multiplayer maps was just insane with so much to do.

What a vibe to start the game. “What follows is frontline combat. You are not expected to survive.” Then each time you die you get the epitaph for the solider you were just playing as.

the only thing is that i wish they had scripted deaths if you survived a certain amount of time. after a while them repeating the same lines over and over got boring and i would just let myself get killed.

I played on the hardest difficulty and they just send the same enemies over and same voice lines until you die. The only reason I died was because I got tired of waiting for something like a scripted death to happen.

What makes it good is that the environment in this game are all destructive. Like if you toss a grenade near a tree the tree would fall and Burn. And many more tiny details like this are also present which makes the game more engaging

This needed to be the way the whole campaign was. I’d love a game like this where you just are a frontline soldier and every time you die, it’s an epitaph, and you’re put into the boots of another. Nothing has ever matched this vibe.

This needed to be the entire game, with all the well known historical battles. Just playing random characters in the real units that were part of these fights. Instead of the random war stories that lasted like 3 hours each.

Playing it right now, there are noob only servers that kick you if your kd ratio gets too crazy, its still posible to enjoy it casualy on PC that is, not sure about how it is on console

The death that happened on the ww1 battlefield was nothing short of a real life horror movie. All the old generals believe in heaving soldiers at the enemy in the name of honor, then we have new weapons which never saw use before, Machine guns with huge clips in fixed trenches, mustard gas, tanks, flamethrowers, artillery, and young men eager to impress there elders for country. I remember reading your life excpectancy was like between a day to a week

I did several papers on ww1 especially the “schleiffen plan” which the Germans “followed” for invasion plan it involved hugging the coast and enveloping the French. The Germans worst fear was what they got a two front entrenched war. It was a outdated plan from the war of 1870 that didn’t quite have thethe movement advantage it needed to work, however it was implemented by Hitler in 1941 and was successful. generals believed in back then was “honor” and put it before strategy. And it meant throwing numbers at problems. They weren’t realizing technology caught up with there idea of “honor in battle”. And the soldier’s dialogue about “ adventure” is all true. Convinced by the top that it would be a great time to show ur “ honor for country” While xperiencing absolute carnage and terror

These guys are Harlem hellfighters, it was a black division of US army. As for the character, well he's not exactly a character, prologue is the only scene where he appears, I'm not sure if he even has a name.

The thing is, it's still a poor representation of trench warfare because there has to be a good balance between gameplay and history. A game about sitting in a trench for hours before a charge where you will inevitably die would be historical, but boring. Bf1 is very good at having a mix between fun gameplay and history, which is part of what makes it so good.

The thing is, unlike Battlefield V or Call of Duty Vanguard where the ahistorical crap wasn't tollerated for multitudes of reasons, Battlefield 1 among other WW1 games had to take liberties because if his was played 100% historically straight players would be sitting in a trench for hours on end, fix bayonets, go into no man's land and then die to machine gun fire. That's not fun gameplay. The BF1 devs even acknowledge this in the bios with the ahistorical stuff being boiled down to, "We know this didn't happen in the real war, but what if it did?" and I could believe it could've happened had the right circumstances happened to will it because WW1 has a pelethora of What-Ifs behind it, the only reason WW1 happened as it did in reality was due to bad decesions on all sides along with everybody throwing whatever they had at a wall and seeing what stuck. Gallipoli and the Kaiserschlacht Offensive anyone?

The Harlem Hellfighters were a real division. The United States 369th Infantry Division I believe. They were nicknamed “Hellfighters” by the Germans because they were so ferocious in battle. No virtue signalling here. This is real history mate.

Wdym man the only black guy in the intro is the one from the ending cutscene of this mission. The rest of the guys are white I think. The Harlem Hellfighters were a unit of majority African Americans who mostly served the French army who did not adopt the same ridiculous segregated military policy as the USA. If anything the fact that there's only the one black Harlem Hellfighter is the real issue
