That backwards drop is so brutal 😀

Haven't been on this in years. The part that really gets you drenched is just after the backwards drop which takes you right past the first drop, just as someone's coming down

Great ride, it's sad it's not been looked after. Back when it first opened there were shutters that opened at the start. I can't believe it would be particularly expensive to fix. And the backwards drop does get you soaked.

My favourite ride at Drayton Manor- water rides have been a favourite of mine since I was a kid.

Looks amazing ride / attraction on video, never seen what it looks like in real life as never visited or experienced rides and attractions at Drayton Manor. Hope to one day visit & experience their attractions and rides, but will have to see when lol. But a good ride, good storytelling and theming. Would love to see Alton Towers build a log flume of this scale a.k.a a new log flume. As sad we lost the Flume, but would like to maybe see a new version go in Pirate themed land where Battle Galleons is? Interact with the lake like this one does? But I guess will have to wait & see what Alton Towers create and add in the future? Cheers for recording, uploading and sharing & look forward to seeing more POV's like this in future. 😀👍

Me and my friends went on this 3 times in a row a few weeks ago there was no queue and the operator let us stay on!

This ride looks like it would get you completely soaked. Especially if you sit at the back from what i have heard from people who have been on it, like yourself Shawn. Great on-ride POV.

I went on this for the first time last year. I honestly didn't know it went backwards. I didn't stand and watch it because no queue . Got on it and thought what's going on here. Screamed my head off. Nice having a surprise you don't know about.

Looks great, nice long ride.

Just sat on it yesterdayy, was so much fun. The backwards drop gets you completely soaked, helped tho since it was too hot

I went today in the pouring rain. It was so fun! It is not looked after very well any more. There were bags of rubbish next to the ride and everything was dirty or a mess. I still love it tho

A Great Water Ride!

excellent video Shawn from Stormforce 10 at Drayton Manor in our 4K POV! This awesome water ride opened at the park in 1999 and features 3 drops along with fantastic theming. The attraction recreates the story of a lifeboat rescue, launched in association with the RNLI. keep the good videos coming on the channel.

Shawn, Seeing the "colorful" water flowing out of that concrete block just after the backward drop is enough warning not only to keep your arms inside ,but your mouth closed. I hope the water has been tested for Bacteria and Fecal matter...Gahhhhhhhh! Have a nice day😁😁 Cheers, Rik Spector

Went there today Shawn because it was my mums friends babys birthday!!I went on Loki,runaway roller coaster,the haunting,most of Thomas land,boat swing thing,swings,park,rapids(Got soaked),dogems,went to the zoo area,barell thing like spinning barells at towers(We spoke German to him his name was Conner @nd I wanted to say hello to him!) and I think a few more
