@@johanbalalthapa9688 because the thing people love about Men Of War Assault Squad 2 is the endless amount of mods ranging from medieval to ACW to Iraq, and there doesn't really seem to be much innovation in Men Of War 2 compared to Assault Squad 2 the gameplay seems almost exactly the same with a different HUD, I haven't played the game but that's just what it looks like to me. and with maps there are tons of detailed mods developed over the past 10 years with huge realistic maps like seen in Men Of War 2, I agree with you I didn't like the narrow vertical maps in MoW AS 2 but mods easily fixed that issue for me. I feel like Men Of War 2 2024 will only be amazing due mods, Men Of War AS 2 also has GEM Editor where you can create your own missions, maps, scenarios etc.

I played this exact same mission 5+ years ago as a MOWAS 2 mod by Sir Hinkel. He now works for this games devs. Shockingly little improvement to this game over MOWAS 2 from 13 years ago.

Nah get MoWAssualtSquad2 this is just a downgraded carbon copy with old voice lines with worse UI with the same graphics for quadruple the price. The only good thing about this would be the updated mod support. The co-op campaign is equal to the other versions though and there are some new mechanics that make microing less troublesome

Disappointed in what I’m seeing. Units are still basically statues when stationary, it feels more like you’re controlling mobile turrets than people. Units still have the same voice lines from 2008 Units still pivot like they’re on a rotating platform Units still bunch up and conga-line when under fire Still no panic/moral feature Units still don’t path through trenches, they just walk through them. Still using the dated GEM engine UI Elements somehow look worse If you’re interested in this game, just play the old ones until this goes on sale lol

Nope. Men of War (2008) Men of War: Red Tide (2009) Men of War: AS (2011) Men of War: Vietnam (2011) Men of War: Condemned Heroes (2012) Men of War: AS2 (2014) They also made Call to Arms (2015) but Men of War 2 will release tomorrow.

It plays smoother then goh, but Graphics and sounds a little bit of a back step. That was also kinda bs AI when your whole squad got wiped out in the bunker. I'd like to know what happened cause the camera wasn't facing on the troops when they all got annihilated. At least you could call in more.

This game looks like GOHs little brother who was dropped on his head.the graphics are worse, the voice dialog is just awful, and the whole experience of D-Day was so under whelming, no artillary or planes flying over barely any resistance this was like tge worst representation of this battle ive ever seen. "I got grass all over my pants from sitting here doing nothing" just terrible...

I don't think the graphics are any worse than GOH. The mission reminds me of a similar tutorial from company of heroes, it would be difficult to make a tutorial style mission that would do the landings justice

Idk I’m not a fan.. At first glance it seems to unlock newer more advanced units you have to win and gain essentially research points to unlock later units, and the game modes are confusing. I miss MoWAS2 where you had to capture enemy points but you could use points to buy whatever units you wanted and pursue the enemies.. here you basically only get what the game starts you off with. For me a waste of $45 Oh big issue: enemy AI can lob grenades at you from farrrr away and even on easy they spam it and one grenade has killed 5 of my people and they weren’t even close together. Infantry are useless.. and if you try to lob grenades your soldier runs basically right up to the enemy and doesn’t get the same range

Even my usermane (not the @ one on yt) is a mishearing of a german voice line. Personally i find them to be the most charming part of the game lol

That voice acting and dialogue is absolute cheese. No seriousness at all. Its like a really bad comedy show you went to for cheap drinks and salad bar. the first CoH has better lines than this. Imagine getting shot at by an mg42 and you just stand up and yell "for freedom," before charging into machine gun fire.

Pretty lame Normandy beach landing mission, for how intense and horrific the actual event was, this looks like it was designed for a toddler. I understand it's a tutorial mission. A) pick a different tutorial setting, similar games used "basic training" themed tutorials. B) even tutorial missions can offer an intense experiences. The map is just dead, empty beach, ai that just runs aimlessly around the map, where's the enemy? No artillery? Mortars? MG's resistance? This is lame AF.

Men of war came out in 2009. Assault squad was 2011. AS2 was 2014. And now Men of war 2 is out. All made by the same developers. Why they keep remaking the same game, i have no idea. Why wont people make civil war or revolutionary war games? Or more viking games. I dont know. Just seems like ww2 games are over made.

This absolutely poor effort of a decent normandy beaches landing has literally just stopped me from buying the game right. That has got to be the worse looking Normandy landing ever no mass landing with tons of boats dropping troops it llooks shit sorry but they really screwed up here in my opinion this should have been much more explosive theirs bo german air support, artillery fire, no naval offshore bombardments its just to empty no men storming the beaches jist your four sappers and a handful of ncp allies i get its a tuturial but they couls have made it look how poeple would expect in a brand new game
