Really nice video, I've had C&CN sitting on my shelf (shamefully) for a few years now with a single play, so I found this and your initial 'How to Play' video really useful as a primer for the game. With my limited knowledge of Napoleonic battles and tactics personally I'd have gone for trying the roll up the French from the flanks rather than a relatively unsupported frontal assault on the hill line, maybe with the British artillery pounding them from a distance. I appreciate this was an introductory scenario more about demonstrating the mechanics of the game though. Now looking forward to making my way through the remaining scenarios. Very much enjoyed this one!

Nice video - I really like the C&C games a lot. When I play solo, I always discard a random card from the hand after I play, then draw two cards instead of one. It adds a little fog of war, as well as some tension as you have to decide whether to use that good card now, or wait until a better time in the future and risk losing it!

Haven't gotten C&C Napoleonic's yet. I am rethinking that now.

At 23 mins I would have unleashed hell from the British cannons on the Heavy Inf in the woods. A ranged combat first and a melee from the second unit would have given you 5 dice before they hit back. Odds are you would have pushed them back if you didn't wipe them out entirely.

Thanks for the good playthrough, which helps grasp the rules. 👍🏻👍🏻 A question : at 24:05 you say that the French has support and can ignore a Flag, but it only has one friendly unit adjacent, while you need two to boost morale. Did I miss something?
