Stormy Daniels spars with Trump defense attorney in tense cross-examination

22 күн бұрынAdult film star Stormy Daniels has finished testifying on the witness stand in Donald Trump's New York hush money criminal trial. On Thursday, Daniels sparred with Susan Necheles, the defense attorney for Donald Trump, going back and forth on a host of issues.
This was the second day on the stand for Daniels, who alleged she had a sexual affair with Trump prior to him becoming president. Daniels is considered a key figure in the trial as prosecutors attempt to prove Trump illegally falsified business records to influence the 2016 presidential election by trying to cover up extramarital affairs.
The exchanges between Trump's attorney Susan Necheles and Daniels resembled a tennis match, with jurors snapping their heads back and forth as the lawyer and witness swapped responses.

The producers of the new Stormy documentary told Michael Avenatti (on a recorded prison phone call) that they were paying Stormy for the documentary and circumventing the garnishing of income (on that $600k judgment) by processing the payments to Stormy’s daughter.

Trump covered up the $130,000 payment by cooking the books and indicating the $130,000 was for legal fees by Cohen. Cohen NEVER performed legal services for $130,000 -- the crime was/is the cover up.

Paying her is not illegal. They have to prove the ONLY reason he paid her was for election reasons. Her own testimony indicates she is simply contemptuous of Trump. She has no knowledge vis-a-vis the reason (beyond simply non-disclosure) for the non disclosure deal.

130,000 doesn't make up for ones personal and safety piece of mind. I am very sure that if she added everything up that she earned, it did not outweigh what she had to spend. The stress of going to court against someone I have no doubt it shortens your lifespan.

After listening to many channels, talking about stormy Daniels testimony, I find yours rather weak and somewhat bland. The others actually have texts and tweets with the questions and answers what seems to be accurately displayed, and you can look at the transcript later on and see the difference between your reporters, generalization, and the actual words of the defense attorney, and Miss Daniels it really is quite different

This may sound crude and unfair to some, but why not have a line up of several men with only their privates showing, and have her pick Trump out of a line. Even pictures might suffice. Wouldn't that have merit as a request in a criminal case? Fact finding can be uncomfortable, but how could it not be relevant and justified? In child abuse cases, children often describe a certain birthmark, stitches, tattoos, or features that make the accused verifiable. How would this criminal case be different. Uncomfortable does not mean unjustified in a court of law.
