I learned years ago to get out of your comfort zone if you really want to live! Im 73 now and canoe camp even in the rain and we had to return in freezing rain. Just love this lifestyle - learned it when I was a boy scout. Every year we - my wife and I - would plan another trip to somewhere different. Best wishes from Perth Ontario - another little piece of heaven!!

There's something raw, natural and pure about camping. There's not a single Kardashian in sight trying to shove make-up or clothing down your throat or their so-called 'adventures' in luxury hotels! Sadly, as a society we have lost sight of the simple pleasures in life and those joys found in nature itself. Keep up the good work Kent!

Dude watching you gather firewood and using your axe yesterday inspired me to go and grab some wet wood out the garage, chop some fine "kindlin" with my own axe and build a huge ass Pyre for some pork rashers and lamb chops. The fire could have been used as a signal beacon for the army of Mordor & Isengard. I put my old-fashioned oil-over-the-wood method aside for a change :D Had a blast of an evening thinking about your videos and how I enjoy them. We big campers ourselves this side. Much love.
