It's so encouraging to see our lil Stormy had learned another life skill.

To all viewers,
This is a retrospective video of baby Stormy. He passed away on November 26th, 2021.
I am sorry that my videos about him are three months behind. And I am trying to catch up with them, because even though he has departed from us, his stories are worth telling.

Isn't it amazing that this brave little monkey could have such an affect on so many. It was good to see him beginning to use his legs a little, but just enjoying his life and having fun. It was so difficult to watch his past videos because they just broke my heart but I am glad I watched this one. His body may have betrayed him but not his spirit! What a warrior he was. Thank you JW.

Stormy is so precious and he amazed us all with everything he accomplished. He is like Tarzan climbing and swinging from the tree's. He will live forever in our hearts. Thanks for sharing

I miss Stormy. Inspite of his disabilities he was more active than many normal babies. I keep watching his videos again & again. Moreover we humans can take lessons from his indomitable spirit. He was so full of life.

Not only did Stormy capture our hearts, he was well loved in the troop too. Watching him drink by himself then go flying so fast back up in the tree hit me like a punch in the chest. I’ve never cried from a KZfaq video before. Pure and inspiring little soul. He will be missed.

My heart breaks for the day when these Stormy videos come to an end, yet I treasure them whole heartedly. I appreciate you so much JW. I am so glad that this amazing little monkey was able to enjoy his friends + life. He was so active, so busy, + when he was in the trees, he was an equal with the others. His tiny little life, on the other side of the world, has been an inspiration to me & lots of others. Thank you JW for loving this little monkey & sharing him with us. Knowing that he isn't here anymore is painful, but I wouldn't have missed little Stormy's story for anything! He has shown me that adversity shouldn't mean giving up, that life should be enjoyed in spite of it. Thank you for sharing your talent, & little Stormy.

His mama loved him n cared for him that encouraged him even moreso and all the group who loved him lifted his spirits up .

Thank you JW for all this videos. Through your Camera we can watch the fabulous nature with these magnificent creatures, who enjoy everything that Nature has to offer. They don't need to be dress or bathed or pose or walk like humans in order to be accepted or love. They are so happy climbing tree, and despite some like Stormy with disabilities, always find ways to a fight for survival but enjoying every moment. Stormy had a short life, but he lived better than many humans, he didn't let anything stopped him to have fun and joy in whatever he want to do. A lot of blessings JW. Hope you have also the joy you deserve in your life

Thank you for posting these videos of Stormy’s life. She was such a beautiful and active monkey who never let her physical challenges limit her. We could all learn something from how Stormy lived life with passion.

Stormy loves playing in the tree. Freedom to swing in the trees and not feel the hindrance of his legs on the ground. Life is good. A real Tarzan!

We could take lessons from stormy some people already do. Instead of sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves there are many things we can do to help ourselves. Even doing something as simple as a jigsaw puzzle. Get you mind off the pain. Stormy's my hero!

In time he would learn to use his legs again. He strengthened his arms so much that he could lift his entire weight with one hand and sit on a branch. A monkey miracle.

I'm angry with the higher power for not saving Stormy ! He did more we expected for on his own., He will be jumping in my mind as long as I live. To bad that he was not prized for the power of his heard ! Special Thank You JW for Your impute to save him. Your heard is not resting never. You are loved for it by everyone here I believe. Stormy is a cute little guy. I thought he wouldn't survive, but he's extremely strong. His arm strength might give him an advantage.

I'm sure being in trees, climbing , felt better, as he was not dragging his back end across rocks and such. The pressure was off his hips and feet. The tops of his poor little feet look raw.

JW.....It was so promising???? Although once again you have produced another beautifully done video, I fear you are trying to prepare us for something. I will continue praying for Stormy's healing for as long as is necessary. Your wording in this video, however, gives me cause for concern. I know many of us are praying for sweet, sweet Stormy. Please let us know as soon as you possibly can about any changes in his situation.

I think I need closure and that will help the grieving …since I found out about stormy, I have been feeling as sad as I did when I lost my 20 year old kitty , BEAR, a few years ago …I decided not to have any more pets, and I got addicted , instead to Arroz monkeys and J.W. …

Stella nursed lil Stormy till the end, but there just wasn't enough milk for him. A baby monkey of six months old need much more nutrition.

Watching these videos and his ability to navigate the trees, it seems impossible that he died. I know JW said he died from complications from a hip injury, but I can't help but wonder -- was that referring to his original injury, or did he fall?

Looking at him i can see some scrapes on both hips..they look red and sore and his tail is still swollen to so i tend to think all those abrasions were too much infection for his little body to overcome

@@kimmarievan-ever6599 these monkeys rarely get infections from wounds even when their limbs are lopped off with a machete like Stumpy. I haven’t heard JW mention his cause but I’d guess it was a fall since he was getting so brave & confident& with only 2 limbs to catch himself I’d bet that’s what happened. 80% of healthy macaques make it to their 2nd b-day. Of the 2 outta 10 that don’t make it the main causes are • falls • motor cars Stormy was one great monkey. He’s just another example of the resiliency of macaques. I recall all the uneducated viewers who left comments on Stormys first videos saying that nature would take care of him in just a few days that he’d die of starvation, be killed by predators, shunned by his mum & troop, was useless, etc, etc. Just go back to the first vids & scan the comments….some trolls were ruthless or didn’t understand how strong these lil guys are & what they can overcome & endure. I’m sure he has opened the eyes of a lot of those nay sayers now. I love Stormy & his family were just wonderful. God bless! 😎

@@Darrenbrown68 Yes, Stumpy's story is amazing. There is another monkey (can't remember if it is JW or Arroz that films him) that has lost part of his arm and leg on one side of his body and he grew into adulthood! These monkeys can survive wounds that would totally kill a human!

@@Darrenbrown68 I'm sure JW mentioned infection when he posted the picture of Stormy letting us know he passed away..if you look in this latest video the base of the tail is still red and swollen and those red abrasions on his hips are new since the previous video..i am aware of how resilient these guys are..how they beat infection by using their saliva to clean the wound and obviously know about our special boy Stumpy..if Stormy had multiple areas of infection there is every possibility that it was indeed too much for his lil body .at no point has JW said it was from a fall ..maybe we will find out or maybe not..we just were privileged to have seen this little guy in his short life and respect what a bloody fantastic monkey he was..its just so hard watching these videos knowing we've lost a special monkey.

可哀想な、ストーミーに優しいお母さんとお兄ちゃんがいて良かった。彼は短い命を精一杯生きて幸せだったと思う。人間が捕まえて治療しても、その後ずっと檻の中ではかえって彼を不幸にしたでしょう。この環境で生活するのが彼の幸せだと思う。私達人間は必要以上に彼等に干渉してはいけない！

I have gone over most comments, but no direct answer to what happened to Stormy. Did he die? If so, how? I hope this isn’t true, but some babies, even perfectly developed babies, just don’t make it (falling from trees, car accidents, illness, etc). I am hoping for the best as the world fell in love with Stormy & we’re looking forward to seeing him grow. 💖🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖
