@@angusls6032 if one gets hurt you have a back up. This way you won’t have to pause production to get a replacement to the filming location + time it takes them to prepare for the stunt etc. you do a risk analysis and pay extra for the extra stuntman to avoid bigger cost due to production delay.

The film was a nightmare chronological wise. And the cutting in of the HK Rooftop gopro footage i didn’t get aswell. And the first carchase scene was messed up. Loved the parkour parts but the rest was literally to freaking much of michael bay

What the folks at home don’t usually realize is that in movies and tv, there’s 10 hours of waiting around never knowing when they’re gonna need you. It’s a mind f*ck to be hanging out on call and then having to get in the mindset all of a sudden. Big props to the storror boys!

@beyond the wheel well, it depends. If you're per diem, you're making them same amount if it's one hour or twelve, or if the union controls who works. I know storror got a good chunk of cash for this which is well deserved. But my point is that while it takes mental toughness to do the stuff they do, it's another level with the pressure of not knowing when things are gonna happen or when they need you on set.

I've randomly come back to this video a couple of times and something I haven't seen anyone point out is.... The stunt coordinator, the director and other people involved all convey the same message: Please do whatever you guys are comfortable with. At 8:11 he says "You guys have gotta do whatever you guys are comfortable with". And the director even says that he doesn't know what you guys can or can't do so he wants to hear it from you. That's respect. They don't push your boundaries, they don't try to make up something absolutely ridiculous and dangerous for you guys to do. They have a hint of what they want to do and they want you guys to see how far you'll come.

What I love most about this is the fact it shows a completely diferent side of what it is like to film on a real set. Unlike the BTS you get with the interviews and things like that. This almost brings you in as if you were really there on that day

@@angusls6032 easier to have multiple stunt doubles available in case someone gets injured than to have to stop the shoot. Also, they mentioned they're running each stunt tons of times. One person running that many times would get too exhausted

I understand how he fell, because when there are dampeners of some kind, in this case boxes. It kind of makes it so even though you are completely set on making it, your subconcious is not scared of falling down as it normally is when you jump rooftops with no form for saving you if you happen to fall. While now in this case, you know, even though you try to not think about it or maybe don't even think about it at all. You know that it'll be just fine, and that can regulate if you make it first try or no. Great video and great job btw! :D

I've been locked into STORROR for a week, that's all. I'm not into parkour persay, I love watching it, I'm in awe of it 100%, I've just always been about wheels. I've been going back through all the vids, they're quality. Some say peer pressure is a negative thing. I think that's bullshit. We drive each other. When you find that group of like minded people, and a little bit of competitiveness enters the equation, amazing things can happen, we feed off of positivity. When your boy hit them boxes, he could have walked away, but once his mate did it - quitting was off the table. This a human story. Life lessons, played out in front of the world. Respect.

That's scary if Drew didn't feel nervous but backed out last second... a lesson to all traceurs out there that we really need to be mentally ready for anything and to have complete control. I'd hate to see that happen to anyone at height because that means they're dead. That being said, if the boxes weren't there, I have no doubt Drew wouldn't have failed because he would have taken the time for more prep.

This was amazing. It was crazy how much time and energy went into each stunt when the result was three seconds of movie time, but as establishing shots for the character these were insanely epic. I love seeing all the behind the scenes, would love to see you guys in more movies (though you deserve the starring roles). I’ve been watching the movie in super slow motion (stop/go motion since I’m not tech savvy enough to know whether you can slow Netflix movies the way you can KZfaq) just to see your parts.
