The rainy season officially begins in June and even if the rainy season isn’t begun yet, heavy rains occur every afternoon in my place. A good sign that we can cultivate our land and plant rice and vegetables. Today, I went to the mountain and gathered firewoods and arranged it under the dalikan(stove). I washed my used clothes in the nearby waterfalls. I made chili garlic sauce and made lomi(a Filipino noodle dish) and ate it while raining. I love eating while it's raining and I miss the rain so much!

I used to not like it when it rains because everything outside is wet and I feel gloomy. I started loving the rain a few years ago. I don't feel gloomy anymore bagkus, I feel relaxed and at peace whenever the rains comes. In the recent years, medyo sobrang maiinit na talaga sa atin. Another reason na I always anticipates the rain to come. Rain is really a blessing lalo sa mga taong nagtatanin at nagsasaka. My Mother would always be thankful basta umulan kasi madidiligan na ang mga tanin nya sa bukid 😌
