Dear Angela, Would like to know, whether there are stories for more advanced level. These are, I suppose, prepared for the beginners.

Thank you for your comment dear Idris. Yes, these are aimed at intermediate learners. If you are at an advanced level C1, I would suggest watching Arabic story cartoons from KZfaq or news or other MSA programs, like documentaries etc.

Which dictionary you would recommend..

This site has all the dictionaries. You will need Arabic to English for translation of meaning, and you will also need Arabic-Arabic especially for verbs and knowing past, present, gerund, active and passive particple. ١- مِن ٢- رَأت - شافَت ٣- عجُوزاً ٤- عُبورَ ٥- ساعدَت ٦-عَمَل الخَيرِ ٧- السُرور

My dear teacher, I wonder why we wrote the word as "فَساعدَت -to help" instead of "ساعدَت" What is the role of letter " فَ" in this case.Thank you so much. Note: It's funny. The word "عجُوز" describes "old women" in Turkish like in Arabic. But with negative meaning "grumpy and ugly" ones-:)

@@hasangul2132 Thank you for the question. Fa over here just means "and so": she saw an old lady and (so) she helped her. I saw a beautiful dress so I bought it: رأيْتُ فُسْتاناً جَميلاً فاشتريْتُه So many similar words between Turkish and Arabic, to a certain extent at least. No one likes to be called عجوز I guess in all cases :)
