ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸਹੀ ਆ। ਜਦ ਅਬੈਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਆਫਰ ਲੈਟਰ ਫੇਕ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ। ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟਸ ਦੀ ਕੋੲੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ।

As I have tried to understand this matter, the majority of the students would have opted to "Pay after Visa," and the students were provided the fake offer for Humber College. Humber College is one of the most reputed colleges in Canada. It takes 2-3 months to issue an offer letter to the student, but students do not have patience, so they can wait for 2-3 months. This is where the agent has played and issued them a fake offer letter. Since the students were so excited, they never bothered to check with the college whether the offer was real or fake. I would like to request that the student who wants to come to Canada on a student visa have patience and check the authenticity of each document.

If the agent told them to change the college as soon as they land in canada , that is a red flag. And they were so desperate that they accepted that condition from the agent. So the students are not totally innocent. I don’t want them deported but everyone is responsible

I m with u . If the visa officer was not able to validate the originality of offer letter in-spite of having years experience . how would they expect candidate of 18 years old to find out if it’s fake or not

Neither visa officer or student can validate the offer letter by just looking at it. Whoever contacts college first to get confirmation about the validity will get to know it. In this case the visa officer reached at the time of the PR application process and got to know about the scam. If either of them reached earlier would have got to know about the scam. If students had gone to college once and not believed what the agent told them before changing college. This could have uncovered at that time to avoid the sufferings now. All new students must check with college, to avoid this scam in future.

They should be 100% confident about what they are doing .they should have confirmed from the colleges since the beginning coz they are getting paid thousands of dollars that is their primary job to verify the contents
