The film covers Mahayana / Vajrayana developments in Buddhist philosophy and the sites covered include Nalanda University, Vikramshila University, Bodhgaya and Udaigiri in Orissa, as well as examples of art from Pala period sites (5th century - 12th century CE).
A film by culture historian Benoy K Behl.

From the coast of Orissa, monks and trader went to Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia etc where Buddhist flourished.

So excellent -- for the scholar, artist, devotee, and historian - thank you so much for showing sacred images that are rarely seen. And for a very decent explanation of Vajrayana. Some say The Buddha Shakyamuni taught the Vajrayana during his life, but I guess this is a controversial view.

There are some small error of describtion in video 4:22 which is "four noble truth" but not "three noble truth", here are some introduce of "four noble truth": the truth of suffering, the truth of the cause of suffering, the truth of the end of suffering, and the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering. But overall it is a meaningful documentary to introduce the Buddhism☺️ thanks for the effort🫡
