Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus was born on August 1, 10 BC to Antonia Minor. He was the grandson of Mark Antony and Emperor Augustus’s sister, Octavia, and younger brother of the hero Germanicus. Claudius will succeed Caligula.
Just as with some of his successors, Nero was adored by the Roman people in his early reign. Only 16 years old, Nero had little affection for the office of emperor, and in fact, saw himself as more of a poet and performer than a ruler of such a place as great as Rome. Nero will succeed Claudius

Fun fact, during the first 5 years of Nero's reign, Nero didn't himself reign, but the Roman statesman and great philosopher Seneca, together with the head of the praetorian guard. Those two were responsible for all the new laws like lowering taxes and giving more rights to slaves. These 5 years were marked as a great period, emperor Trajan even said that these 5 years were a mini-golden age for Rome.

Saying that people thinking Nero was 'the Antichrist' is anachronistic. At the time of the writing of the New Testament books 'antichrist' does not seem to have referred to an individual, but rather just 'an opponent of Christ' or 'those who are against Christians' or even 'people who are un-Christian'.

You people have lost your minds thinking a man that killed his fucking mother and executed his relatives and that ignored almost all of his responsibilities and that ruled tyrannically was a good man... I cant hate Nero and not hate those who support him. You people can probably understand though that applying modern logic to his actions as emperor is a very foolish move. Besides modern logic is very broken in itself.
