Sir, I am from jammu and our maharaja Hari Singh (Dogra ruler) was not a dictator. Each and every person in jammu can tell you how good he is and if you are talking about Kashmir, then the situation in Kashmir in that time was very much similar to situation now...like stone pelting killings hindus like they have done in 1991. Our grandparents who met him personally, they never talk about anything which made him dictator.

No need of carrot and stick policy. We Nagas have had enough. We don't see Indian Army as our guardian but we fear them because of their atrocities. History have manifested how Indian Army are. I love India and i want to be a part of India. However, if Government of India can't compromise on Nagaland, justice should be given to us. 1. Territorial integration. ( Do you know that there is an INTERNATIONAL boundary within the house of Longwa angh(Chief)).? 2. Indian should accept Nagas as one of them. If they support the forceful occupation of Nagaland. 3. Remove AFSPA... the list can go on and on.. Last but not the least, the whole world is watching us. So, I hope a good sense of judgement shall be upon the leaders and does not make the same mistake. You forgot to mention that the Kashmir issue was taken to the United Nations by Nehru and that if he wouldn't have done so, there would be no POK.

@@Jamesreverend no . Whole Kashmir would have been part of India if nehru wouldn't have taken the Kashmir issue to un . Indian forces were already in Kashmir . We freed a large part of Kashmir from Pakistani forces and would have freed whole Kashmir but un issued a stay on war and because of that Kashmir problem still exists. It's all because of nehru that Pakistani forces are still there in Pok illegally occupying Indian land and because of that people from POK are still suffering

Sabhi states ney khushi khushi nahin majboori mein acceede kiya thaa, jabki Hyderabad, Kashmir aadi kuchh baddi states ney saaf inkaar karr diya thaa. Lekin abb voh integration yaani nation building bahut purani ho gai hai. Abb new sarokars aur challenges hein.
