I listened to Electric Boogie in the early 80s, long before i ever knew it was a collab between Marcia Griffiths and Bunny Wailer..... Same goes to that absolutely Amazing Nina Simone cover Young Gifted and Black with its 1960s Motown-inspired riffs back in the 70s..But Beautiful Marcia is much much more than those smash hit songs....The True QUEEN OF REGGAE.

She speaks of being a mentor to young women due to the harassment and attempts at exploitation she herself faced, which is generous and divine. Her music is as beautiful and eternal as she still looks. This, despite the trauma of her sons' father's m*rder. The one time I met her she was gracious & kind. Viva Queen and Mama Marcia Griffiths.

I see she just received her order of distinction in Jamaica as her history shows that females few and far between hold there own in male domination throughout this industry however I know she also has much admiration for bunny as a man who spoke out with much knowledge and inspiration also bunny's name also includes Thaddious which is a disciple name for any of the tribe Issachar blessings and guidance
