The "Saints Row" reboot is what happens when Gat decides "You know what, f-- that, I want *all* of them." Result is earth is reset with a new timeline... but Gat stays in hell and Aisha comes down to stay making it their own heaven. In turn, the reboot is exactly what happens when the Saints *don't* have Johnny Gat behind them: bland corporate sellouts who play by the rules instead of beating down anyone who messes with them with ruthless efficiency. So yeah, that's why Playa makes the choices in the games... when Gat gets to he breaks everything so bad Volition gets shut down.

One thing that pissed me off the most about the new saints row is that gta gave them 10 years to drop whatsoever they wanted and they gave us that while gta 6 is looking crazy stupid so far

As much as I love saints row I hate how the games drifted away from being an actual story about a gang if that makes sense, like saints row 1 and 2 were brutal with the violence and death of gang members ,then saints row 3 was a little less brutal, 4 is fr just killing aliens then the newest reboot almost feels like it was made kid friendly, I love all the games but I feel like the game makers got worse at coming up with a goof story as time went on, there's no more shock factor or emotion

For Saints Row and Saints Row 2, 2006 and 2011 make sense since SR1 takes place in 2006 and the 5-year coma from the end of the game to SR2 would end in 2011 (I would say SR2 takes place in early 2011 based on the McManus 2011 not being available in the game but the McManus 2010 is). For Saints Row The Third and IV, 2015 and 2020 based on the McManus models available and 2020 being an election year

I used to love this franchise as a kid! Best vid timeline ever. But, I do wanna see them continue the story but not with the new reboot, maybe cop gat isn’t a bad idea but I would wanna see the original crew again, and hope they will get another story just as crazy, wacky, and as foul mouth violent as the original saints row.

I only have three questions about this timeline: -Why did Playa free themselves but not Lin? Was it too late for her? - On the SR wiki it say Carlos year of death is listed as 2007, if they game takes place in the year it was released (2006) that means it took Playa a whole year to defeat The Brotherhood? Unless it doesn't take place in the year it was released -On the SR wiki and website it says Lin's year of death is 2008, how did Lin die after Carlos?

Saints row 1 & 2 are Goated and imo can’t be flawed on story, only minor gameplay things. SR3 was the worst of the OG trilogy but still had the essence of the previous 2. The rest are appalling, a game I LOVED as a child was totally ruined by the later additions. I didn’t even finish SR4 and never even acknowledged the rest, they irritated me 🤣! Best thing they can do for us OG fans is potentially remaster the first 3 entries

If I wanted to reboot the saints row series. I stick to natural evolution of the series. Even the cast changes and so does the element of mood in each game. Stilwater wouldn’t change too much. Only having 1980s stilwater being on the verge of Ultor takeover. They changed the district of Stevenson into Ultor district. But Saints Row witnesses the change of stilwater. But saints row itself would change from being a middle class neighborhood to a gang ridden ghetto. And of course the third street saints would change saints row for the better or worst. In 2008, the psychopath wakes up from a coma and sees a new stilwater. Different from the time the psychopath woke up. Playa from 2003 finds out who attempted to kill him. The west side rollerz buyers Ronin and decide to head to Japan. And take revenge against the yakuza. The psychopath takes over stilwater and rid of the lesser and powerful street gangs. Psychopath boss decides to expand beyond stilwater into steelport. And this new setting makes it for an undercover cop to see the new gang saints gang in joining them to take them down. But his loyalty for the police and gang are conflicted. Even the corrupt cops of steelport want to rid of the gangs who dare to challenge the ruling mafia family. But the undercover cop decide to rid of the mafia and join the saints. Even becoming a branch leader. As the saints legitimize their businesses. The steel port saints boss decide to hit up a syndicate owned bank. And that ends up going bad as the syndicate knows who the saints are and head to Bayview. A city ruled by the European syndicate Famille de Loren. Led by Philippe Loren. And for refusing to be taxed, a plane fight occurs and they reach into Bayview and find out that one Daniel Kim was found dead. And want to avenge their comrade. Meanwhile, the psychopath boss decide to find Dex in South Town and end this old feud once and for all. But Dex had a son Eli and had to relocate to Santo Ileso and start a new life there. Undercover boss would start to destroy everything the syndicate owns and even rally opposition to rid of the crime boss once and for all. However Philippe’s father Jacques would become the major casualty as the saints destroy the syndicates tower headquarters. Angering Philippe and vowing vengeance himself. Undercover boss would use the steelport experience to takeover this city. But however a false flag attack causes a mercenary company STAG to intervene. Stag caused problems that even the saints gang itself is divided. That undercover boss and underboss are conflicting with each other. That revenge driven the boss mad and underboss needs to remind about unity. Unfortunately one end has his girl Nicolet being killed by Philippe that there’s no returning path to goodness. Underboss was able to save some of the homies. UC boss battles Philippe and end this conflict once and for all. Underboss decides to leave Bayview as they drop their flags and start over else where.

Saints row will come back stronger than ever

The way they progressed the story is why this game collapsed. We got 2 games about being a gangster and it should've ended there but we immiedatly went into some futuristic shit. In my opinion everything after saints row 2 either should be growing saints where the ending is either success or a complete collapse. The entire storyline was drained in the span of 2 games so only way to have the extension of the story is continuing it within what the previous 2 parts were revolving around

I missed playing the older games but my favorite was Saints Row The Third. If I was writing The Brotherhood storyline, I’d would change a few things. Hear me out, i don’t think that Carlos should’ve been killed off in Saints Row 2 but I do understand that someone has to die to give the main character some motivation for revenge and development but I would have preferred to put the him on life support. Carlos could’ve been the Robin to the Boss’s Batman kinda like a Latino Dick Grayson with the backstory of Jason Todd. In the mist of infiltration of The Pyramid, The Boss finds experimental drugs to bring back the dead. They steal the drugs, head back to the hospital where Carlos is and when they get there, the doctor tells him that he didn’t make it. Johnny hearing about this gets upset because he wants to bring Aisha but she’s been dead for awhile so it wouldn’t work. The drugs would just turn her into a zombie. Shaundi tells him this bcuz she hacked the hacked the hard drives from the lab and saw the data of several people who were killed and brought back to life. So if the Saints knew about the secret lab earlier, they could’ve had a contingency plan for death. The drug basically works like Deadpool’s healing factor, as long as the head is still intact, the body can heal from any damage. So I would have brought back Carlos in the third game as a relative to Angel. Carlos still doesn’t know how to fight fully but he’s learning so he trains hard with Angel & The Boss. And over time he’s become more of a warrior. In the end, Angel & Carlos take down Killbane and The Boss saves Shaundi, Viola and Mayor Reynolds. But Carlos gets killed by Killbane in the Bane versus Batman style with his finishing move, The ApocalyFist, and Angel kills Killbane right after in a gruesome way. The Saints celebrate at the penthouse and morns the death of Carlos. Lastly the post credits scene shows The Boss getting a call from an unknown number and it’s Johnny Gat who actually did make it back to Stillwater by calling someone reinforcements to come to Steelport but STAG locked down the city and the Luchadores blew up the bridge. So he was running things in Stillwater hunting for Dex. Eventually he finds him and put him on the phone with the Boss for a final farewell. Johnny meets up with the Saints in Steelport and the crew throws a huge party. A scary cutscene shows the remains of Carlos at the airport slowly transform into a whole new body that looks similar to Killbane. Apparently the blood of both men were mixed together and Killbane’s upper body started to regenerate (referring to Perfect Cell from DBZ) and Carlos’ face is on Killbane’s body.

ah the good ol saints row reboot that killed the franchise and shut down volition everyone says that saints row iv killed the franchise when it didnt the reboot did lmao its the reason volition got shut down xD yea saints row iv did poorly but not poorly enough to shut the company down like the reboot did i liked saints row iv more than the reboot and theres a reason why i didnt buy it when it launched the reviews for it stunk and i wasnt gonna waste money on it sadly it ended being anyways on psn xD so in the end i still ended up getting just didnt have to pay $70 for it

Saints row failed because of their stupid over the top antics... And completely ditching the story of the saints row instead of continuing the story following Dex into Steel City... So imo Saints row 3 and beyond was just pure trash along with uncalled for and unnecessary
